Lake of the Woods and the surrounding areas comprise one of the natural wonders of North America. With over 14,000 islands and more than 105,000 kilometers (65,000 miles) of shoreline more shoreline than Lake Superior, the waterways of the lake and the surrounding wilderness offer anglers & hunters an endless variety of opportunities to experience the wonder of the region.

The location as described is not accurate due to limitations of the CanadaStays website. Because it is a cabin in an unorganized area there are no postal codes or street numbers. The cabin is located at the west end of Lake of the Woods.
An unusual & fantastic feature is a 1700 square foot sun deck attached to the cabin which surrounds the hot tub. It provides a spacious area with a great view of the lake nestled in amongst the trees. Excellent for socializing & is handy to everything (kitchen, outdoor shower, hot tub). A woodstove is available for use on the deck.

There is a cell phone booster which boosts the cell phone signal. This usually produces 3-5 cell phone signal "bars".

General: The cabin & bunkies are equipped with central vacuum. There is a screened gazebo on the huge sun deck.

Outdoors: Horse shoe pits include horse shoes, tetherball, zip line, basketball hoop & trampoline are provided in addition to the things listed in the "Outdoors" section.
