Welcome to our charming Vermont farmhouse, the perfect retreat for your family getaway or small group vacation! Our cozy home is nestled in the idyllic Green Mountains, near the Battenkill River, and offers a serene escape on a quiet road.
With three spacious bedrooms and two well-appointed bathrooms, our 1280 square foot home comfortably sleeps up to six guests. Enjoy a leisurely walk to the nearby South Village Pond, or take advantage of our prime location just 2 miles from the Vermont Summer Festival and HITS Horse Show.
In the winter, our home is conveniently located 14 minutes from Bromley Mountain and 28 minutes from Stratton Mountain Ski Resort and Magic Mountain, making it an ideal destination for winter sports enthusiasts. And, with the Manchester Center outlets just a 6-minute drive away, you can shop 'til you drop at renowned stores like Polo Ralph Lauren, Talbots, Theory, Tumi, Brooks Brothers, J.Crew, and Simon Pearce.
After a day of shopping, treat yourself to lunch or dinner at one of the nearby restaurants or bars. And don't miss the historic Dorset Marble Quarry, where you can jump, frolic, and swim in unique surroundings. Arrival info was excellent! Location is excellent. Would suggest an addition AC unit during hot summer months and blinds for the windows in bathroom up stairs once neighbors move in. We enjoyed our stay.

Benedict Farm House

Great location, near Manchester and Dorset, just off Rt 7A. Instructions for check in were spot on, but we didn't receive the initial email, it had to be resent. Probably the coldest weekend of the winter, with temps close to 0F. Oil heat/forced air, but it wasn't able to do a good job on the primary bedroom (downstairs). Other than that, unit was well furnished, with a Keurig coffee maker, full complement of cooking gear.Would definitely return in the future.
