Our Springwood Shed House has the best view on the farm. Each room has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors so you can enjoy the view from your bed, living room, kitchen, porch and patio. There are ceiling fans, TVs, and independent thermostats for each room. We also have another listing, Springwood Cottage on the same farm lane for additional people you are traveling with.

Weekend at UK

Great property and fantastic cabin. Hosts were responsive. The views were very peaceful and even though all our activities were on campus, it was worth the drive!

Fabulous place! We absolutely loved sitting out on the porch and watching the horses morning and evening. The travel time to attractions was super easy from this location. If you want to be immersed into Kentucky horse country, this is the place to stay! The house was well equipped and met our every need. We would recommend this stay to others and will hopefully be back again one day.

Great House & View

The Shed House was beautiful & well appointed!! The best part was the view! 2 comfy king bedrooms each with its own bathroom. We were an easy 20 minutes to Keenland or the great downtown restaurants. Our contact with Kim was a 10 out of 10!

We’d stay again!

Two couples who travel together found The Shed perfect for our stay to attend the Defender event in April 2025. It’s close to the KY Horse Farm but a bit out of the way (close to the community of Midway). There is a train track off to the side that was occasionally annoying overnight but the trains were short so noise was brief. It was great being next to a field of horses and to watch the variety of birds.
