4 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on a working Thoroughbred farm in beautiful Woodford County Kentucky. Enjoy watching mares and foals frolic in fields by the cottage located on a private long drive way. Close proximity to famous Keeneland racecourse, Woodford Reserve and Ashford Stud (home to recent Triple Crown winners Justify and American Pharoah). Close to the Lexington airport, 7-8 miles from downtown Lexington.

Perfect Getaway

Wonderful cottage on a beautiful property! The cottage is beautiful, well stocked, plenty of room for all and had an easy checkout process. The location is a convenient base to visit area distilleries and horse farms to tour. Once you’re back, it’s such a peaceful getaway- relaxing, ability to walk the property, see their animals, and just enjoy some tranquility. We hope to return soon for a longer stay!

You won't be disappointed

We loved our time at the cottage. Kitty and the staff on the farm were so wonderful. They made us feel at home! The cottage is a perfect in every way and you won't forget the memories you'll make here being in the middle of an actual working horse farm. We will be returning here in the future and enjoying more relaxing stays.

Tranquility Plus

Such a comfortable/cozy cottage and grounds. Takes one away from the chaos of today's world. Would recommend to my friends. The owner came by before we left and he is a very interesting man; especially given his relationship with the Keeneland Race Track and the world of thoroughbreds.

Relaxing cottage getaway

We loved staying on this property. It is quiet and is conveniently located close to Keeneland, Lexington, Woodford Reserve and few other cute little towns. The house is situated in the middle of a horse farm where you could look out your window and see horses, cows and a donkey. We had everything that we needed for a 3 night stay here. Kitty and Ryan were very nice and they were helpful in providing recommendations on places to eat and things to do. When we come back to the Lexington area, we will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Place

The pictures of this property online just don't do it justice. First of all, the home sits a ways back on the property surrounded by trees and horses. So, needless to stay it's very quiet and tranquil. You are surrounded by nothing but acreage every where you look. It's fenced with horses of all age groups. The owners invited us to explore the grounds and even the horse barns. We really enjoyed waking up each day with all the nature around us. The owners were a wonderful couple and they were very easy to communicate with throughout our visit. I think anyone thinking about booking this home should know that this is an upscale place for a family or couples. It's definitely not a place for a group looking to have a party. I would recommend this location and home to anyone looking for a some peace and quiet.

Our group of four had a wonderful time staying at the cottage. We loved interacting with the horses on the farm and the environment was so tranquil. The cottage is comfortable, quiet and homey with room to spread out and walk. It was so nice to come home to after a day of exploring and bourbon tours. A highlight for me was watching the horses at Keeneland race track during the morning workouts. We absolutely would stay here again.

Restful and Peaceful Destination

This was our second visit to Orchard Park. First time we went with family and this time with friends. So lovely and peaceful. Beautiful countryside, home, and sunsets. Absolutely love seeing the mothers and foals together. Everyone is so kind and friendly. Will definitely return for another stay.

Dream Thoroughbred experience

If you are a horse lover who always wanted to live on a farm and look out the windows to see mares and foals, then this is the place for you! The property is beautiful and peaceful. The home is clean and the beds super comfy. The owner is incredibly responsive. And, best of all, the home is pet friendly. Not only can you see the horses, but you are allowed to pet them and walk the grounds. Our Golden Retriever loved meeting all of the animals! Simply amazing!

Amazing Property

Just finished our stay at the Orchard Park Cottage. It was amazing. The property was beautiful. Perfect mornings with coffee on the porch watching the horses. Family of 6 stayed comfortably. Kitchen had ample supplies. Keurig coffee maker. Refrigerator did not get super cold. Location was perfect a little drive if you are going to downtown Lexington. Scenery is worth the drive. We will definitely be back. Big thanks to Allison the farm manager so helpful.

Spring in Keeneland.

This is our second time to stay at Orchard Park Cottage. This property delivers in every way. It’s beautiful and secluded but so close to anything you need. This home is well appointed and very comfortable. Can’t say enough about Kitty and Alison. So welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond to messages. Also, who doesn’t love to be surrounded by horses.

Amazing Experience

This was our favorite family trip yet, we will be back! The guest home and the property were beautifully peaceful. Our daughter enjoyed waking up and ending her day surrounded by horses, she made a few friends! Ryan, Kitty and Allison were all lovely and greeted us upon arrival. We enjoyed fires in the fireplace and cooking.

Best Kentucky Derby Trip

This farm was gorgeous, immaculately groomed and the most beautiful horses. Every mare had foals ranging from 1-4 months old and they were very friendly. Most came to the fence to be petted. It was wonderful to walk out the door or just look out the window to watch them nursing, grazing, or rolling in the grass. There was plenty of room to walk around the property for exercise and just to look around. The house was very nice and functional. We grilled on the porch and just enjoyed the scenery. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. We enjoyed the artwork and antiques in the house. The house had plenty of supplies, spices and condiments in the kitchen and cookware and dishes. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. This was such a nice place. We would love to go back soon. Thank you, Laura and family from North Palm Beach.
