About this property

Modern Lakefront Vacation Home with Private Dock, Great Views, & Water Toys!

Avoid the long commute up to New Hampshire and enjoy our lakefront home only one hour from Boston. Why stay in an old cabin when you get stay in a modern 4 bedroom (with 8 beds) home. The house was built in 1999 and recently updated. We planned to live here full time but due to unexpected travel for work, we're making our property available for just a few weeks each summer.

The rental includes use of all of our floats, kayaks, and paddle boards. There is nothing like a nice paddle on the still water to start your day.

Outside you'll find a patio with Adirondack chairs and fire pit, a fenced in yard, and a waterfront deck and dock with a sectional sofa and cafe lights. Inside, you'll love the sunroom with the great view of a the lake. There is also a dining table with seating for 10-13 and an open living space and plenty of additional seating. There is a first floor master with a king bed and attached bathroom. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a california king bed and 2 walk-in closets, a guestroom with 5 twin beds (2 bunk beds and a twin) and another guestroom with 1 twin and a queen.

The home is family-friendly and completely fenced in. You can also enjoy 428 feet of lake frontage! Complete with a dock for your boat or jet ski. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, and more. We also have floats, 2 paddleboards, 2 kayaks, and a canoe for your use.

You won't want to leave, but if you do you're only 1 mile to the Cape Cod Canal and minutes from beaches and everything else The Cape offers. Grocery shopping and great restaurants are 5-10 minutes away.

In summary, this is a high-end furnished home with your own private lakeside retreat. It will only be available for a few weeks each summer while we're gone.

The home can sleep 12 in beds (6 twins, 1 queen, two kings) but this includes bunk beds. This limit is strictly enforced including day visitors. The home is a full-time owner-occupied home so there is a strict no party policy .The home comes fully stocked with bath towels, beach towels, and paper towels, toilet paper, and soap/shampoo. There is also a washer & dryer that may be used.

Gorgeous, serene lake house

We had a lovely stay at this lake house. It was so nice to just relax at the beautiful lake - everyone in our family could do their own thing- swim, kayak, or just read a book. The owners were really responsive to messages on the app. All in all - a great family vacation spot.

Great quiet place on the water.

Nice place set up with plenty of sleeping space. Good arrangements inside for family activities. Could use some attention to details to make it 5 star. We would consider returning. The owner was available and responded quickly.

Beautiful Property

Overall, as advertised, a beautiful property, updated throughout the house, gorgeous kitchen, dining area, bedrooms and bathrooms. Great sunroom looking over the pond. Private pond access with deck, furniture, kayaks, paddles boards and canoe. Went to the Cape for the week to enjoy the beaches and spent most of the time at the house and pond. Overall exceeded expectations. Would certainly visit again.

We had an unfortunate incident happen and I took proper steps on rectifying situation but owner was not willing to wait for insurance claim to process and was unpleasant when he did not get outcome. Make sure you take out insurance policy if you plan to rent

Upon leaving, Richard and Katie told us they very much enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately and to our disappointment, this review was used as revenge for a negative review we left for them. We did so because of damage to the property and the difficulty we had working with Richard to make it right.

A beautiful home on the water with fabulous attractions nearby

We were very impressed with the private lake access and the comfortable living space of this gorgeous home. The kids especially enjoyed the kayaks, swimming, and collecting shells. The homes are spread out enough so that you really feel you get the lake to yourself. In addition to the deck / patio area near the dock, there’s also a relaxing hammock and backyard section to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. The home owners Ryan and Julie were responsive to all our questions and immediately returned the deposit. They recommended some restaurants and markets within 5-10 minutes of the home which exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the entire Cape Cod region and only about 2 minutes to the bridge. We went in July which is the busiest month and were surprised at how decent the traffic there was on route 6 when exploring different beaches and neighborhoods. I would highly recommend this home for anyone interested in a relaxing, peaceful getaway. (As a side note remember to pack your water shoes. There’s also a CVS close by if you forget anything.)

Updated Lakeside retreat, easy access to all Cape has to offer.

Perfect spot for two family get together! Property is well maintained and has beautiful new kitchen. Large dinning room, living room, screened in porch as well as dock were ideal for entertaining. Beds were comfortable and decor throughout the home was modern and airy. Walkout basement is well stocked with all you could need to enjoy lake. Loved the Sonos system that made music in house and at the dock easy to enjoy. Enjoyed fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing and swimming right from dock. Water is clean, view was beautiful and lake is not too busy, very relaxing! We found it very easy to explore all the Cape has to offer from this property. We did lots of day trips and were happy to come back each day knowing we didn’t have far to drive and we could recharge at the lake the next day. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. It was clear that they had taken lots of care of their home and wanted to make sure their guests have a great time. And we did! Thanks so much! Wishing them all the best! We would definitely recommend this place to stay.

AMAZING Lakehouse

We just returned yesterday from this amazing home! I traveled with family and we stayed for 5 nights and enjoy every element of this home. Being right on the lake was pretty awesome as we spent almost everyday sitting on the dock and enjoying the sun and the EXTENSIVE lake toys that the home had to offer. Ive rented many homes but none of them were ever as stocked as this home. Had everything you could ever imagine you need. The owners were also such pleasures to work with and if they were going to continue to rent this home we would have absolutely returned!

Great Lake access and water sports equipment. Limited seating in the family/tv room made it hard to gather at night as a family to watch movies, etc. Very clean. Would recommend this property!

We're a family that loves to travel to try new experiences but this is our primary home. We've traveled to 50 countries but always love coming back to the lake.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the big-lake feel yet in a location that is so accessible to Cape Cod and Boston. Many lake homes in the area were built pre-1960 and feel like they are on top of each other. We only have one neighbor and otherwise sitting on 1 acre of land without any neighbors on one side.
