I am a Florida girl who found her way in San Diego in the 90s ocean beach has been my home. I ride the wave of California woo, woo, and professionalism while having two crazy cool surf for kids, high conscious and really love being in the San Diego laid-back lifestyle, but keep my East Coast vibe
Why they chose this property
Why choose OB? Anybody who has been OB knows at OB’s different than any other beach cities they’ve been to has its own vibe where people care not about keeping up with the Joneses but more or less care about being in the no worries mindset. I came to California wanting to come to the beach and someone directed me to leave and it’s been all over. I can walk around in my Victoria’s Secret room, barefoot, sell houses on E bikes, in yoga pants- my ASD can grow dreadlocks go surfing or run around the neighborhood. Sunsets in the ocean and sunrises over the harbor no traffic and golf carts. Keep the streets fun. Surf, bike, sail, golf, gym, organic food.
What makes this property unique
so it’s an interesting built-in building finished in 2016 when property they properties hard to find below us is a retail space and a finished garage and upstairs is the vacation rental.. we recently just sold our other home our other vacation rental to buy this beautiful home so close to the beach. We’re in the process of executing and finalizing our purchase and this is our end. I’ll be all property. We love it. Finalizing and putting in a commercial real estate office downstairs and maybe one day we live upstairs but right now it’s a little mini Me for me and two little boys.
I’ve always been a single mom, but October 2024 my son’s father who is a big surfer and Ocean community was diagnosed with cancer and died less than a month later very young. So two boys were two different dads. This home helps us do a single mom side hustle to allow us to live in San Diego happily ever after.
