Perfect family vacation spot

We stayed at this property for a family vacation. The house is very clean and comfortable with gorgeous views. We enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the ships, boats, birds and seals.

Terrific location, comfortable place.

A comfortable house. The bedroom downstairs is nicely private. Great beach for the kids. California quail visits the front porch railing. Juvenile eagle perched on house next door's roofline. Convenient location for exploring the Olympic Peninsula.

Spectacular views!

Right on the beach in Dungeness: large house with comfortable accommodations for all. Extremely well equipped kitchen, barbeque on back deck, good beds for all, with great little upstairs room (with the futon) that had board games and legos, puzzles and animals for kids). It accommodated the drop by visits for our family members who stayed in nearby houses. Perfect beach for kids of all ages.

Loved Lighthouse Manor!

What a great house! The amenities were plentiful and very thoughtful. We spent our time in different parts of the National Park. This was a comfortable place to come back to and relax after those long days. I would definitely come back if in the area again! Thanks for the hospitality.

Beautiful and relaxing spot

The location of this was house was perfect for our family. We were able to watch our kids play on the shore from the comfort of the living room on cold days. We saw eagles, otters, and seals. And then you walk out the front door to views of the mountains. The house was a bit dated but pleasant. We loved our week there and would love to go back.

Beautiful location and house

This house was everything we wanted and more. The location was beautiful and the house had all the Accommodations we needed. It was very clean and well kept. The smell from the shore alge was the only issue, which we knew ahead of time, but didn't realize it would be so bad. All in all we had a great time!

Local getaway

We visited Sequim as a local getaway from Seattle. Great house, plenty of space to spread out. Views from every window. Easy access to Sequim and the surrounding area. Sandy beach above the high tide line is great for playing in. Below the high tide line (intertidal zone) is a long mud flat. Less great for long walks but fun to watch the birds.

Lighthouse Manor - What a beautiful view

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Lighthouse Manor! I have never vacationed in Sequim and didn't realize what a fun place it is for vacation. It was so peaceful to go out on the back porch and see and hear Puget Sound right at your back door. It was great to go on walks along the beach. Along with the water activities there are many hikes near by (waterfalls, the Rain Forest and Hurricane Ridge) if you enjoy hiking. You won't be disappointed in your week when you stay here!

Light House Manor- Gateway to Olympic National Park

We were visiting the ONP for 3-days from San Diego. The views from Light House Manor are simply beautiful. The House is well decorated and has all amenities. A good place to relax and enjoy morning walks in the neighborhood. A little drive to get the town but worked well visiting the Olympic Peninsula on long summer days. We were 2 families and the 3 bedrooms worked well. Simone , the property manager was very approachable. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will have good memories.

Excellent location

Our three night stay at Lighthouse Manor was perfect. The views from each window are stellar. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, flatware, and pans. The layout of the house accommodated our group of 5 - two couples and a single well. Everyone had their space with plenty of room to move. The board games and puzzles are appreciated as were the full size washer/dryer. The beach was not as long as desired, but a short trip in the car to Dungeness Spit solved that!

Right at home

That's the way we felt from the moment of walking into this beachfront home. What a setting - if you're a bird-watcher you'll never leave the living room windows. Plus sun on the back deck in the morning and the front deck in the afternoon. Kitchen was great. A hot-tub would be super. Bedrooms could use a bit of an update - only reason I'm say four stars instead of five :-)

Beautiful Lighthouse Manor

We had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Manor. The house was perfect for our group of 4 - plenty of room. Great kitchen. The best location, right on the Straight. The beach is private for residents of the communtiy and we had it to ourselves during our stay. One thing that should be updated in the property listing - there are two full baths. The listing says 1 full and one 1/2 bath. We were very pleasantly surprised to have 2 full baths, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs bath has a walk in shower; the downstairs bath has a tub with shower. I will definitly stay here again when I get back to Sequim.

Lighthouse Manor

Beds were very comfortable & the house was very clean. We had everything that we could possible need. The view was awesome. It was a lot of fun watching the ducks. Simone Nichols is an amazing host. Perfect location for a getaway

This is one of the nicest homes we've stayed in. The views out front and in back are all spectacular, and the location away from busy roads but not far from town. You can walk the beach and listen to the seagulls and shorebirds. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of silverware, plates and utensils, and there were towels galore. We appreciated the detailed booklet with info on the house A/V equipment, and how organized and spotlessly clean everything was. We were 3 couples and there was plenty of room to relax and spread out. Note that only one bedroom had a queen bed, the others had 2 twins, which was fine for us. We would/will definitely come back to Lighthouse Manor!

On the water north of Sequim

Thank you for your home. We enjoyed our stay, and the price was great. We were two couples, so one couple had to bunk in twin beds. Kitchen was well-stocked, and it now has crab picks! View is awesome. Thanks for the binoculars. Thanks for the DirecTv package. And, thanks for the fireplace. Recommendation: King bed downstairs, king up, 3rd bedroom with twins; replace lower bath shower curtain hooks and bar, as they don't allow easy sliding.

Great location and home, but it was not clean.

We would love to stay here again but are having second thoughts as it was not very clean. Railings, floors, walls, etc were dirty and sticky. The place was run down. Trash had not been taken out to the curb on trash day so there was no room the the trash cans outside to put our garbage. Disappointing as the place has the potential to be delightful.
