The host was great with communication, but unfortunately the stay itself was not a good experience. We were told the house would be ready about an hour after check-in, but we didn’t actually get inside until around 7:30 PM, so we ended up waiting around most of the day.Once we got in, the house still felt really dirty and not ready for guests. Some of the beds weren’t made, there were dirty dishes inside the kitchen drawers and cabinets, and there were stains all over the carpets. The washing machine also did not work during our stay. The front porch had very overgrown bushes and overall the property just did not feel well maintained.I do appreciate that the host communicated with us, but overall this was not a place we would stay at again or recommend.

We booked this vrbo for 4 nights & it was probably the worst vrbo or Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. We first found 3 bags old rotten moldy fruit with ghats everywhere in the cabinets. All rooms had ceiling fans, which one of the rooms it wouldn’t work but all had at least an inch of dust all over it. All the walls, blinds, & the windows had dust, spider webs, and what seemed to be dirt or dirty hand prints. The bathrooms had no trash cans, and the washer and dryer didn’t work so we had to take wet clothes home in a trash bag. We were going to cook breakfast and all the pans were filthy and gross. All blinds were broken, so we felt like we didn’t have privacy. Bathrooms air vents were rusted and seemed like a hazard if someone was barefoot. We were excited about the hot tub but then realized it smelled like a creek or pond. Very mildew smelling & hot tub was also plugged into a drop cord which is very hazardous. Also even if we didn’t want to get in and it was fine, the neighbors camper was point right at it which was incredible uncomfortable and creepy. The “fenced in” backyard was not very pet safe. The back gate didn’t latch fully so we had to always have someone stand at the end of the yard. There’s also a rusted pipe of some sort sticking out in the yard, that was very unsafe for our dog. Along with all large amount of trash in the back yard beside hot tub. We also almost fell on the back steps, the rail in not sturdy and not secure. And finally back behind the drivew
