Oceanfront 1+ Bedroom Coastal Retreat with hot tub

Oceanfront home available for rent on the beautiful Mendocino County coastline. Enjoy breathtaking views from this 2 acre property - no homes between you and the water. Minutes to Anchor Bay beach , and a short drive to Gualala . Spend your days hiking, beachcombing or exploring Mendocino Wine Country. Spend your evenings listening the barking seal lions at nearby Fish Rock while relaxing in the hot tub.


One bedroom, one bath with additional detached bedroom in the 'Captains Quarters'. Full kitchen, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, Propane BBQ, and wood burning stove firewood not guaranteed but guests are welcome to use if available. Main Bedroom has a queen size bed, 'captain quarters' has full size bed. Additionail queen pull out in main house.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. It was quiet and peaceful with stunning views plus it was dog-friendly so we didn’t have to worry about a pet-sitter. The hot tub overlooking the ocean was a really enjoyable place to enjoy each sunset. It was perfect for our getaway trip and we would happily stay here again!

Impressive panoramic ocean view

My wife and I stayed 3 nights along with our dog. The views of the ocean were incredible from a very private large lot. The cabin was the perfect size for us and had all we needed to feel at home instantly. We will be back!

Peaceful

Seapoint is my Happy Place. When I need to detach from the world I like to just relax at Seapoint. We just park the car and don’t leave until it’s time to go home. The view is awesome and the cottage has everything we need. It is small and cozy, perfect for a couple or small group.

a wonderful getaway on the coast! we loved the property grounds - especially the picnic bench down the driveway. I will say to bring plenty of your own drinking water as the tap water tasted very funky. we loved this place and can't wait to return some day!

Sweet Coastal Paradise

This sweet cottage is spotlessly clean and homey. The cliff-side ocean view is magical, and it is very easy to spend all day sitting outside watching the waves, the birds, the passing sea lions, and in the right season, the whales. The hot tub is nicely placed to enjoy while viewing the ocean as well. We hope to return in the near future.

Perfect place

We have been renting other places in the area for over 20 years and this one was definitely top three. The property is great. The view is to die for and the house is small but perfect. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub works great. The barbecue actually had propane available unlike other places, we are fans for life and we will be back for more nights next time.

Incredible Place to Stay

My wife and I just stayed at this property for our 5th wedding anniversary and can’t get over what an amazing experience it was! The property’s layout is incredible - views of the ocean from nearly every angle, tons of space to chose where to picnic and a fantastic house. Laurie was a great host, ensuring we were ok, as there was a fire nearby at the time. This was a truly romantic and magical way for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary!

I love it here

I spent the weekend here in March with my boyfriend and dog. None of us wanted to leave. It felt like the most perfect oasis. The views and privacy were incredible. The house was cozy and comfortable. We got to star gaze from the hot tub. I could not have asked for a better place to stay, and I've already told several friends about this gem. I can't wait to return.

Beautiful location!! We were totally relaxed. We did not watch TV at all. We enjoyed just looking at the water view and birds. We heard seals barking in the distance. Just a gorgeous place with nature.

Amazing view!!!!

Loved it!! The view, the hot tub, the sea lions, the fireplace…..everything was beautiful. I am a housecleaner so I did see some things in the home that could be cleaner, but none of that mattered when we had the amazing view! Even though it was raining for part of our time there, the large picture windows allowed us to have the outside in. Would love to visit again! Can’t beat the view! Highly recommend!
