Cielo Instructions
Shoes It would be greatly appreciated if you can wipe your feet on the way into the house and remove your shoes while indoors. Thanks!
***Pool rules*** No glass!! No wine or colored beverages by the pool. Please use the acrylic blue water glasses or acrylic clear stemless wine glasses in the bottom draw to the right of the fridge
***Pool maintenance*** Pool maintenance is scheduled on Tuesday afternoons.
***Pool controls*** - All the controls are on the wooden pole that you will find when on the pool deck - about 1/3 of the way toward the infinity edge after you walk down the stairs. - To heat the hot tub, press "SPA" once. You will see a blinking red light which shows that the heat is on. When the light is solid, the SPA will have reached its set temperature of 100F. If you press SPA again it will simply turn off. The SPA is set on a timer for 2 hours. If you want it to continue, just press SPA again. - For the hot tub jets, please just press Jets. These are also on a 2 hour timer. Just press them again if you want them to continue. - When the SPA is off, the pool heats automatically with the solar system on the roof. Typically, the pool temperature will stay between 70-80 degrees during the summer depending on the weather. - The pool is 37,000 gallons and is not heated during the winter. The water temperature is between 45 and 60 degrees during the winter. - Please do not close the pool cover!
Wi-Fi Network: STARLINK
Air Conditioning/Heating There are two controlling devices - one in the kitchen to control the south wing and one near the master bedroom in the hallway to control the north wing. The units turn off automatically when you are not in the house. The Temperature is pre-set to 67-75, but feel free to change the settings if you like.
Bath Tub The bath tub is equipped with thermal air. A few minutes after the tub is drained, the jets will turn on to clear water out of the lines.
BBQ Utensils for BBQ are located in drawers to the left of the sink. Please brush off food particles after use using wire brush provided. There is a gas gauge attached to the propane tanks to see how full they are. In the event you need a spare, they are located in the shed in the front yard near the water tank.
Coffee Machine Please make sure you are only using one paper filter and change it between each use to avoid overflowing and shorting the machine. Also, please do not put any parts from the coffee machine in the dishwasher. Mr. coffee machine and nespresso original line available.
Dishwasher Please do not put any of the Henkel sharp knives in the dishwasher. They should be hand washed.
Fireplace The fireplace is gas. There is a switch on the wall to the left of the fireplace (when standing in the living room) that looks like a regular light switch. Flick the switch to turn the fireplace on/off.
Laundry Room & Washer/Dryer The light switch is the one furthest away from the door in the corner. Please do not wash the sheets or towels with anything of color as they are easily stained. You'll find additional toilet paper, paper towels, outdoor towels, bath towels and sheets here too or in the pantry.
Music We have a sonos system in the living room and kitchen that you can connect to or plug your iphone/android phone into directly.
Refrigerator If the doors are not properly closed, you will hear a beeping sound. There is filtered drinking water available from the inside of the fridge on the left side.
Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Soap In each of the en suite bathrooms, you'll find these in the vanities. In the 3rd full hallway bathroom, these items are located in the laundry room.
Towels Bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths are in the laundry room.
Trash Please put your trash in the two secured bins in the shed in the front yard near the water tank. There is a padlock on the shed and the code is 8470. DO NOT leave any trash outside, we have lots of animal life that will get into the bags and it will be very messy! There are extra trash bags in the pantry where the pool towels are stored.
TV/DVD No TV - this is about getting away and we take it seriously ;-)
Umbrellas There are two sun umbrellas, one on each deck. Occasionally, the property experiences high winds and the umbrellas should always be left in their closed position and secured with the strap.
Waste Disposal There is a small silver button (air switch) next to the kitchen faucet. This turns the waste disposal on/off.
Water We have had our well water tested and it tested better for drinking than SF city water. We have a water filtration system at the rear of the house and it removes the vast majority of the iron from the water. You may still notice some slight discoloration. We drink it regularly. Once a week the system is purged. The time that this occurs varies depending on usage. If you hear any strange gurgling or knocking sounds from the north of the building, it’s most likely the water filtration system purging. Filtered drinking water is available on the inside of the refrigerator on the left side.
Additional Notes •There are a few large food platters and water pitchers in the glass cabinets facing the dining table. •The house is on a septic system, please only flush toilet paper. •If you are planning to be away for most of the day, we suggest pulling down the shades and closing the curtains. This will keep the interior of the house cooler in the summertime.
What to Bring •Personal toiletries •iPhone •Slippers (you'll love having slippers in the house!)
Departure
Please use the following checklist: •Check the refrigerator is properly closed and the oven/stove knobs are turned off. •Unplug the coffee maker and the toaster oven. •Turn off all interior lights and check to ensure the exterior lights (side, front and rear) are turned off as well. •Ensure all bathroom extractor fans are off (they are very quiet and are easily overlooked). •Ensure that all ceiling fans are turned off. •Hang up all the wet towels. •Leave the bed sheets on the bed - the cleaning team will strip on arrival. •Pull down all the roller shades and close the curtains. •Check all doors and windows are closed and locked. To lock the swing doors, pull up on the handle first to engage locking mechanism and then turn the deadbolt lock. To lock the sliding doors, first pull backwards on the handle to engage the lock. Then slide the door closed. You will hear a click as the clocks engage. Finally, turn the deadbolt to lock. If you cannot turn the deadbolt, open the door by pulling on the handle and then slide the door closed again and repeat. •Brush down the BBQ grill and replace the cover. •Put all trash in the two secured bins in the shed in the front yard near the water tank. Separate the items for recycling from the trash. • Make sure the pool cover remains open •When you leave from the side door, simply press the red button on the keypad and the door will lock.

This was a family weekend visiting wineries. Gorgeous house with a stunning view. As listed a bit of a ride to get to right now but worth the trip. Great host. We had a great time.
A wonderful place to enjoy our Napa trip. As advertised and great location. Thank you.

Our stay was very comfortable. The views were amazing. And our grandkids loved the pool and hot tub! We would definitely return and recommend this wonderful house.
Great stay. Some small repairs are needed but I would turn around right now and book this property again. Hot tub was awesome. View was out of this world

Kitchen had all utensils you need to cook a proper meal. The electric tea kettle was filthy and we could not boil water. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken and there was a detour to the house so a very long and treacherous drive. The road off the highway was @16 miles and quite scary..once on Cavedale Road it’s really only one lane. Not the kind of place you want to go out for dinner. The view is spectacular and beds were comfortable. The outside lights in the front did not work and showers took a long time to get hot water and the water pressure was minimal. Inspite of this we enjoyed our stay.
After a long drive up the mountain, we arrived at the property and it was amazing. Very private and quiet. Sat in hot tub for sunset each night and it did not disappoint. We would definitely book this property again.

The view and house was beautiful, however the drive to the house is very difficult and was understated by the owner. We could not use Apple Maps to get there as it gave us the wrong direction. You have to use Google maps. When the road gets fixed (which I believe is October), it will be MUCH better.
This property made the trip! The house was spacious and perfect for a group of 6-8. The pool and views were incredible and had everything we needed for a long weekend. If/when we go back to the Sonoma/Napa area we would for sure stay here again!

We loved this property! The space, views and experience really made our trip special, and a highlight of our Napa visit. We arranged early dinners in town, in order to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets at the home.
amazing view, quiet location, see hawks fly. our family had a wonderful time at this property. roughly 17 minutes to Glen Ellen downtown, and 25 min to Sonoma. Good combination of serenity and convenience.

Cielo lives up to the photos. It’s a beautiful home, and the views are stunning. The pool is phenomenal - large and nicely heated. The road up to the house is narrow and windy, but definitely worth the trip! Star gazing on the deck after dark was also incredible - lots of shooting stars.
The home was a perfect way to celebrate a milestone birthday in our family. Would highly recommend this home. Impeccable, amazing views and very well stocked. Would love to go back in the future. Highly recommend it!
The property was incredible. Hard to believe, but far exceeded the pictures!
We spent so much more time at the house than initially planned. It was amazing and we felt no need to leave. It was like our own private resort on top of a mountain ( with a crazy road to get there :) )

Absolutely gorgeous home in a stunning setting!
The home is simply gorgeous!
It is beautifully built with nothing but the highest grade finishes. The pool and jacuzzi are spa-like. The setting is beyond beautiful and the owners are just wonderful to work with.
Wish I never had to leave!

Thank you Stacey - great having you guys. Hope to see you again.
The host was wonderful, ease of entry was great. The house itself was clean, intuitive to use everything (A/C controls, everything in the kitchen, etc.). Instructions were very clear and I didn't have to reach out for any questions as they were already addressed in previous communications, notes and instruction manuals. The location is simply gorgeous. The backyard pictures do not give the views justice. Truly magnificent - our second time staying! The only downside I would say is because of the mudslide, it added an additional 15 minutes of extremely windy mostly non-paved road. So, make sure you have folks that don't get car sick easily and are responsible drivers. Besides that (which is out of their control), I highly recommend staying here. Views are out of this world, the house is gorgeous, and the host is very organized, responsive and friendly. :)
We had a friend’s reunion and really enjoyed our stay in Sonoma! The house was in good order and the rooms fit our group of 6 well. The open layout of the home, view, and pool are the best parts. The road to the house is a bit windy, so for the motion sick, may not be ideal, but the view was worth it. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and plan to be back in the Sonoma/Napa region again soon!
The property is absolutely stunning, the view and the infinity pool alone are worth staying at this place. Host was responsive, Property was clean. My only comment would be that most of the sliding doors to get outside were broken and it was difficult to get onto the deck but apart from that small problem everything else was immaculate
