Great property for a large family. The indoor pool was fantastic! The house was super clean when we arrived. There were plenty of pool toys, beach chairs. Nice large kitchen for cooking family meals. Plenty of silverware plates, etc.. The check-in process was very easy. The owner was fantastic. Responded to any questions I had immediately and made us feel at home. excellent location, super close to the beach super close to downtown Hyannis. We will definitely be renting here again!

Great pool, fantastic communication

We really enjoyed a 3 night trip to this property! We had a mix of kids and adults, and well loved the pool (we paid for the extra warm option, which was totally a good temperature). The host, Kirill, was very responsive throughout our stay. The best part of this place is the pool, and we used it multiple times a day. The location is very close to many other activities (beaches, mall, etc). The house itself is not in perfect condition, but everything that mattered to us worked perfectly (hot water, kitchen, heat, pool). We will totally come back!

Disappointment

The location was in a nice neighborhood but the house itself was not alt all what was listed. The pool was cloudy, the hot tub was broken and had black mold in it, master bathroom had 2 sinks with one of them taped off to not use, open electrical outlets around the pool. Open holes around the pool, and so on. The owner was very nice and did come over quickly with shock for the pool when I asked him too. It was a big house to accommodate a big family but not what I expected when I got there.

The property was basically in general disrepair. Sinks that did not work. Lights with burnt out bulbs. Jacuzzi that was not operational. Hot tub faucet that did not work. Tennis court overgrown with bushes. It appears that the photos in the description of the rental were from when the property was for sale years ago. Nothing was well maintained. The central air conditioning for the master bedroom was not functioning and was replaced with a noisy window unit. We never would have rented this house if we knew its true condition.
We were told that the tennis court had some cracks in the surface and we could use it at our own risk. There were bushes growing on it.

House had everything we needed, was very clean and close to everything.

House was very comfortable for all of us, including our dogs. Rental included a free beach pass for 15 town beaches, both residential and open to the public. The kitchen had everything we could ever need, towels and sheets provided. Very safe and friendly neighborhood, close to everywhere we wanted to go. The pool was very clean and well maintained, owner came by mid week to add chlorine etc and was readily available should we need anything. If you are going to pick out every defect on the house you should not rent at all, you will not be happy anywhere you book. The house was very quiet and everyone said how comfortable the beds were. The only thing I wish is that we had the 3rd bathroom and outdoor shower that was advertised in the listing.

Not as advertised- Do not rent this home

The advertisement on Homeaway/VRBO website is NOT what was on the property. I had a number of conversations with the owner and got very little help for correcting problems. The following items were in serious need of correction: Master Bedroom: No real privacy curtains in master bedroom I had to put up bed sheets for privacy , No bathroom door on bathroom in master bedroom (doorway had hinges etc but door was removed.), One sink in master bedroom was not working it was taped off very unprofessional, Tiles falling in shower stall in master bedroom, Items in the rest of house: holes in ceilings with exposed wires bathroom, Its July and the a/c in end of house did not produce cool air in the vents in the last two rooms of the home causing very uncomfortable sleeping conditions. I had conversations with the owner who said there was nothing he could do to help. There were bugs in the home such as ants, beetles etc., Interior sections of ceiling pieces falling off or peeling off throughout the house and a electrical receptacle falling out of a deteriorated exterior ceiling in the courtyard, Holes in walls and ceilings, Lock on back door into pool area doesn’t work so owner put a pad lock on door, Rusty items in pool, Pool drain cap not secure floating along bottom of pool(safety hazard and not sure if this is up to code), Exterior grounds NOT maintained at all- lawn so long was NOT usable. Also, overgrown bushes everywhere you can't even enter house without stepping on bushes. Mouse hole in pool wall and mouse poop in pool area, End game room has a roof leak there is pink ceiling material exposed with something to catch the leaking water and a small tube/hose running down the wall with a bucket under the leak. The outside of house was falling apart. This house was awful I have used Homeway/VRBO for over 10 years and never had a problem until this place. I would not recommend this home to anyone.

I want to warn you that this person is lying. She stayed at our property during the best week of the season (4th of July). She hasn’t mentioned any problems or issues during her stay. After she checked out, she tried to extort me for a refund. When it didn’t pan out she filed a formal complaint which immediately was dismissed for no merit. It didn’t stop her to write this bogus review. I am glad that most of our guests are nice and honorable people. Many of them are repeated customers. We have our property on HomeAway for three years. We have more than a hundred happy guests and forty excellent reviews. I can assure you that we will continue to provide an excellent service to all our future guests.

False advertising

There were too many negatives to this rental. The outside of the home is deteriorating. The smell of mold was everywhere. The landscaping was awful. There wasn’t even a clear entrance through the front door. There is a whole on the exterior of the home where rodents are living. The indoor pool needs resurfacing and the water was freezing. The thermostat in the pool was broken. The property is so overgrown you can hardly see the home. There are not 4 bedrooms and there is not an outdoor shower. The owner was responsive but clearly is just making money on a home that is in desperate need of repair.

Good House, Good Spot

We had a week here this summer. I called the property owner with a couple of issues and he showed up ASAP (the next morning) to take care of them. I would consider that a very positive experience. Also, the house had a pretty stocked kitchen- tools or otherwise. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, about a <5 minute drive from the beach and even closer to ice cream. We had a broad range of guests with us (teenagers, babies, adults) and everyone had plenty of space! Pool was cool- my kids loved it. It was the same temperature as my pool at home that's outside, but without the breeze!

Family lying Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed the property to the fullest All my family were able to get away relax and have fun. We played late night video games together and all went swimming in the beautiful pool even had a day at the beach, easy to get to and not crowded. Great Time!

We rented this property for a bachelorette party for appx 8 - 10 women. We were not looking for a 'perfect place', we were looking for the 'perfect place for us.' And we found it! Everyone had their own space, the rooms were a good size with clean linens. The master bedroom upstairs had a nice fireplace, balcony, and a large bathroom w/walk-thru closet. The indoor pool was great for a swim here and there mid-September. If we were looking for something, they had it in drawer somewhere! Smart tv able to connect to your own streaming channels. It was the perfect setting for a group of people to sit around, chat, swim, enjoy each other's company and celebrate our wonderful friend! Thanks to the attentive hosts for the lovely property!

Perfect weekend away with the kids

Five star experience! The property was clean and welcoming. Very open floor plan, which I loved. We paid a little extra for the warmer pool during the off season and it was worth it. Make sure to put the pool cover back over the pool when not using it to keep the warm in. Lots of pool noodles, kids float vests, pool floats and goggles for use. The kids also loved the air hockey table and jacuzzi bathtub - both saw lots of use. The master bedroom with the fireplace in the center was very cozy. While the home is located in a quiet neighborhood it is a very short drive from everything you might need. Groceries, Starbucks/DD, Restaurants, shopping, etc. We brought our dog and he enjoyed himself as much as us with lots of romping outside and sleeping upstairs next to the fireplace when it was on. The property owner had excellent communication and responded to any questions we had very quickly. We are bookmarking this property to return in the future.

Perfect family vacation on the Cape!

The house was ideal for our long weekend on the Cape. Perfect proximity to everything we needed: beaches, stores, restaurants, and, most importantly, playgrounds and ice cream shops since we had kids. When we weren’t out and about, the house had a nice family room, good communal kitchen, and of course the pool. Kirill offered to stop by and walked us through the house, pool operation, and basic troubleshooting if we had any issues. He was very response to text messages and made our stay very seamless. Would recommend to anyone looking for a house in the area.

Wonderful, quiet, close to so much

We absolutely love our time here. The house is huge. 8 adults stayed here. And you would never have known. Spacious. Clean. So much to do and see in area. Kirill was super responsive to our needs. Literally responded within minutes of our inquiry. Kitchen more than appropriately stocked. We cooked and grilled nightly. Amazing secluded outdoor patio area. We utilized the fire pit as well. And the pool….We spent many hours in the pool, it was absolutely amazing. Who sees adults playing in the pool? We did! Every night. Highly recommend this property and would definitely return in the future. Thank you kirill. We love our family trip.

GREAT FOR PEOPLE LOOKING FOR PRIVACY BUT STILL BE CLOSE TO EVEYTHING

The property needs minor repairs as stated in previous reviews. We were a group aged 66 to 16. Everyone had a great time. I travel with my own cookware. I did not need to unpack my own. Everything we needed was there except for steak knives.. The pictures of the patio is underrated. It is larger than in the pictures ( it extends behind the pool house). The 4 older of our party spent most of our time on the patio ( it was like total seclusion). The 4 youngest spent most of their time in the pool.. Everyone enjoyed the air hockey. It was very close to pick up take out food. They have less rules for check out than most If I was in that area again I would stay there if possible.

Unfinished Construction Site

The house had some very positive aspects-large living room, good kitchen appliances, clean floors and roomy kitchen and dining area. There was however many aspects that were very subpar. One bathroom had a broken sliding that was stuck half open and a shower that was disgusting with many broken tiles. The second downstairs bathroom had no molding around the door, the door had to be slammed to be shut and not one electric outlet-tough luck for any hairdryer use. The third bathroom upstairs had two sinks-one was broken and had tape over it. A plumber would have been nice to address that. One of the bedrooms still had exposed plaster mesh tape on the walls. Another bedroom had the two closet doors taken out with nothing done to clean up the open closet-which had no clothes bar or even hooks to hang anything on. There were nails sticking out of walls and many nail holes never fixed. There’s an indoor pool which was set at a very cold temperature. We rarely used it. I had a lengthy discussion with the owner after we finished the week rental. Our family had a great time together and chose not to focus on the poor conditions. Having paid a prime rate, we felt deceived by the listing. The owner’s response to my assessment was that he was aware of my comments and they planned to address them in mid September when the season was over. He also told me he would have refunded my fee if I had told him on the first day- this infuriated me as we we have three young grandchildren and two well behaved dogs. Good luck to us on finding a new place the same day. I confronted him on his false descriptions in the ad. I told him he should have told me what the house conditions were. He told me he would do that with the renters for the rest of the summer. I have rented nice homes all over the country with great satisfaction. I am also a landlord and understand the issues involved with renting. The owner seems like a nice person but clearly he has let his home run down and is eager to cash in. Renters beware!

Somewhat disappointed

When I first arrived I began to feel disappointed. The driveway was the worst I have seen. It wasn't even safe walk on in the dark with all the holes and risen blacktop. The hot tub (we were told could not be used a few days before leaving home) was a disaster. The pool was very nice and clean. The pool room, however, had holes in the floor for vacuum and filter that were covered with wood, The house itself was very clean and roomy. There were no curtains in most of the rooms, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I did still enjoy my time there.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this home, sure there are projects that need to be finished like many other reviews state but that did not detract from our experience. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive with any questions that came up. With a total of 9 of us in the house it was spacious and comfortable, never feeling we were on top of each other. The location of the house was also fantastic, providing quick easy access to Hyannis, the beaches and wherever else our cape adventure took us.

Perfect family vacation.

The home was spacious, beautiful and very clean. The bedrooms were quite comfortable. The location was beautiful and close to everything. The pool was wonderful . The owner was very quick to respond to any questions. There were some minor improvements that could be made but nothing that took away from our enjoyment.

Rain or Shine Family Getaway

This property is situated in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of activities within 3 miles. A great beach is only 1.6 miles away. When you come back, take a dip in your private indoor heated pool! There always seems to be one day on a vacation that has weather less than desirable, but don’t worry about it here. The pool is gorgeous and the owners check during the week to make sure everything is as you would want it. We had our son and daughter- in - law join us and we were able to give them the master suite on the second floor, complete with balcony. What a nice way to bring the family together, yet allow room for some privacy. If you are like us, we like to cook rather than eat out and the kitchen is well-appointed. Nice appliances, plenty of room. This was a perfect vacation spot ... plenty to do if you want... and comfortable enough to stay “home” and just enjoy the pool.
