The property is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. We were in town for Mississippi State Family weekend. Short drive to campus. House had everything we needed.

We had a great stay! Our boys caught lots of fish and we loved being in close proximity to MSU. Hail State! Would definitely stay here again.

My co worker and I looked forward to getting off to work, so that we could get to the best kept secret. The porch was so relaxing looking at lake & hearing no traffic & etc. 10/10 for peace and quite!

The property was located in a quiet area that was still plenty close to town if you wanted to run into town for anything. I don’t know why you would, though, because this place was nice enough to enjoy on its own. There were supplied games to play, plenty of room to spread out and not feel cramped, and comfy beds. The outside was nice to walk around too. The gazebo was pretty dirty, so we only went out there once, but the view is nice next to the water and it’s cool to watch the fish.

We came to town for a football game and to visit our daughter at MSU. The property was clean, secluded, and quiet, yet still very convenient to Starkville and the university. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything was exactly as represented in the listing. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

We have absolutely zero complaints about this place! The host, Tiffany, was very responsive when I messaged her asking her questions before we arrived. The house was super clean. Had all the necessities plus some! We will definitely book this place again when we’re over in the area racing at Magnolia Motor Speedway. One of the added bonuses: A tankless water heater! We never ran out of hot water.

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I went for a little getaway to celebrate our anniversary and it was exactly what we needed, quiet, relaxing with very pretty scenery. The cabin was very cozy and clean and even though we were very close to Starkville it seemed as if we were in our own little world of relaxation The hostess was so very hospitable and provided detailed information about check in and the property. We will definitely stay again if given the opportunity. Thank you!

Baseball camp and fishing

I took 2 grandsons to Starkville, MS for baseball camp. The cabin was a perfect location and had a pond. The boys went to camp until 4pm then fished til dark. Life was perfect for a week.

Buck test trip

Property was beautiful and so relaxing to enjoy the lake and listen to the frogs at night. We watched the bluegill swimming around by the shelter at the waters edge. Went in to starkville and ate dinner at Oby's our last evening at the cabin. It is definitely a place so go and stay if you don't want to listen to other hotel guests being loud and you enjoy the peace and quiet of nature at its finest.
