*Vehicle Requirements: From November through May, a four-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicle is required. Roads to the Hideaway are plowed and maintained and the driveway is flat, but please be prepared for winter conditions. About the host
Hosted by Allison
I live in Denver but get up to the mountains as often as I can. I'm an interior designer and love curating comfortable, beautiful spaces for our guests to enjoy! We've stocked the cabin with everything you need so that you can relax, unwind and savor simple pleasures while at The Hideaway.
Why they chose this property
Privacy and accessibility make this neighborhood so special. While here, you don't see another soul, yet you can go for a walk or hike, where a neighbor or car will offer a friendly wave. The property, driveway and road are all flat, which is uncommon in the mountains and makes driving in the snow (esp in a rental car) much easier.
Thompson Park, part of Pike National Forest, is very close and offers lots of great hiking trails.

What makes this property unique
The hot tub is my favorite spot at The Hideway -- whether watching the stars at night or the wildlife during the day, it's the perfect private spot to unwind. My kids love roasting s'mores in the outdoor fire pit and exploring the 2+ acres of private forest. We also love playing ping pong, foosball and darts in the attached, heated garage!
