About this property

This three bedroom, two and a half bath log cabin is nestled up on a mountain ridge. With short and long range mountain views, large covered porches, fire pit, easy access, and convenient location - you'll be sure to have found your home away from home.

When arriving It'll be hard to choose between relaxing by the fire pit, enjoying the porch rockers, hammocks, or grilling out on the gas grill. With it's easy access and ample parking, it'll be easy to enjoy all the convenient amenities the Smokies have to offer. Either way, you'll get to enjoy the mountains right from the comfort of your cabin.

The open floor plan leaves plenty of room for you and your family/group to enjoy spending time together in the common areas. The open kitchen is fully stocked and features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ample dining space. The living room area has comfortable leather furniture, a rocked gas log fireplace, wireless internet, large flat screen television. There are two bedrooms upstairs and the master with a king size bed is on the main level. For guest's convenience there is an HE washer/dryer.

Ceiling fans are in every bedroom and main living area, Hickory wood floors on the main level.

This Cabin is conveniently located near Bryson City, just off of HWY 74. Within a fifteen minute drive to Bryson City you can visit the the Smoky Mountain Railroad, Deep Creek community with hiking, fishing, tubing, swimming, and horse back riding. In just a short drive you can also enjoy Nantahala Gorge with it's whitewater rafting, kayaking, and zip lining.

Great View From The Back Porch, Spacious Cabin

We enjoyed our fall getaway to Bryson City and our stay at this cabin. The view from the back porch is terrific. We spent much time there just looking at the mountains. The cabin was very spacious and well appointed. We spent the evening playing board games, of which there are many to choose from. Everything was clean. We appreciated wood left for us to make a fire and a full propane tank so we could grill out. We also appreciated the availability of kitchen appliances and cookware so we could prepare our meals there. The location is close to the GSMR and you can hear the train whistling from the cabin. The drive up the gravel road wasn't as bad as I anticipated, and it gets easier with subsequent attempts. We will most likely book here again in the future.

House was as listed. No problem with driving up the hill. Unfortunately cleaning crew had not been through in a while as there were bug carcasses abounding. View was great from the covered porch. Doe came up to feed on the berries, lovely. Kitchen was well appointed on the main level. Hot water was slow, but likely due to little traffic. This is a huge property which could host a much larger family than ours. Only real issue was the lack of a gate. At 11pm on Saturday night we heard vehicles in the driveway, they turned tail when we turned on the lights but my wife was spooked, so we packed up and left. If it had been a single car then maybe not so bad. If it had been a killer, he wouldn’t have left. Thieves or naughty adolescents was my guess. It was too bad that it messed up an otherwise good weekender. Thanks for the use of your property.

Amazing place!

Really enjoyed this cabin. It is can be hard to get to and you must be careful on the gravel road. But once you get there it's incredible!

Delightful - interior excellent - exterior has some deferred maintaince that can easily repaired

Really enjoyed the house, beautiful view, convenient location and privacy. House is clean and and the kitchen well stocked. I would certainly recommend this property.
