Absolutely great place. Very roomy, very convenient patio and fire pit close to the cabin.

Just a great place overall. Very quiet and very remote. Had a great time and was very glad we found it. We have been doing this for a very long time and this has been the overall nicest place yet and the owner was very polite and helpful

Secluded getaway

This was a very clean and well maintained cabin, set back off the road. You are likely to see some wildlife, and will be able to relax on one of the porches just listening to nature. Bed was comfortable, cabin is huge, pool table was fun! Prepare for a long gravel road to get here though!

Peaceful cabin

The pictures were right on but it was farther away from things then we expected especially being on hills since we are from Florida but if you want peace and quiet this is the place to go. There was enough couches for everyone and the pool table was great for the kids. Corn hole was a blast.

Serenity

So peaceful and so well maintained. Nice neighborhood community and people in the town. I my self surreal to the fact that my urban background was so much treated with hospitality by the townspeople also.

Great cabin in the woods

Great place, fit my family and my brother's family for a long weekend. Was remote, and quite a drive to any of the surrounding towns, but lots of great attractions for day trips about an hour away. The finished basement and living area downstairs were awesome for separate quarters for one family. Cell phone service on the drive in and around the area cuts out, so make sure you have GPS or printed directions/maps.

Wonderful Time!!!!

We were in town for a wedding!! We loved the cabin and had the best time!! What fun seeing deer, turkeys, covered bridges, lightning bugs, and the most beautiful scenery!! We had a great time hiking the trails located in the property. We made s’mores, cooked out on the grill, and played pool!! What a great place to stay with your family!! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin!!

Had a relaxing weekend in a beautiful cabin in the woods!

The cabin and it's amenities were beautiful, well maintained and made for the perfect way to get away from it all. Bring everything you need with you, as it is about a half hour to get to a grocery. Extra TP for large groups is recommended.

Great Cabin for a group get together

We had 9 guys who stayed here over a weekend and had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep between the beds, futon, and couches, we're pretty low maintenance so getting 9 guys through 2 bathrooms was no issue. Can confirm that sprint had service out there and we had two that were able to use a hotspot for the rest of us, and would recomend if that's something you need. Overall it fit our needs just as we needed it to.

Peaceful getaway

This cabin is about 30 minutes from the nearest town which makes you feel like a real getaway. It is well kept with a large lawn and beautiful plants and flowers. A few of the dishes were dirty, but overall it was well kept and clean. The only negative I have is that the fees added to the nightly rate were quite high which made the overall price much higher than the initial rate given on the website. If you aren´t worried about price it is a great place to go and we would recommend it. We spent part of a day at The Wilds which was also a great experience.

Quiet and peaceful retreat

The cabin is a great place to get away from it all if you wish, but still has all the amenities to keep you connected. Depending on your cell phone provider, connectivity can be limited. The cabin is set far off the road, which doesn't get much traffic anyway, and there is ample room to roam the property. There are also several parks you can visit if you'd like to do more hiking or exploring. The cabin is well taken care of and very clean. We love the outdoors so we made good use of both the front porch and rear screened porch. Since it was a bit chilly a few days we were there, I would take a chair from the screened porch and sit outside on the back patio in the sunshine to read. Tiffany is very friendly and helpful, and prompt to address any questions or issues you may have. She wants to make everyone's stay a pleasant experience, so don't hesitate to let her know.

FABULOUS BLESSING

This property is a fabulous blessing!! Thank you, Tiffany, for sharing your home with us!! My family loves secluded places - which this certainly is!! Beautiful property- we took several walks. Amazing animal displays inside the cabin. My adult child is in a wheelchair and although this property isn’t technically “handicap accessible” we had no problem getting her in on the main level- just three steps into the back porch and from there we were good - a couple places were a bit tight just because of furniture - but it worked. Amazing, huge master bedroom which made maneuvering the wheelchair very easy in there! I also have a couple young children and everything was great for them as well. A couple small problems were remedied quickly by the owner who responded very quickly to all of my questions. A couple favorite things: playing corn hole - first time for most of our group!! It was hilarious!! And seeing the amazing huge turkeys!!! We only live a couple hours from this cabin - but the turkeys are way bigger than the ones we have at home. I could go on and on but overall, it was just a fantastic time!!!!

Relaxed, Recharged, and Well Enjoyed.

What a wonderful experience. This property was exactly as described, and the pictures (as great as they are) can't show how wonderful of a place this is. I booked this location for 6 days, by myself, to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It was everything I hoped it could be. It is a fairly quiet plot of land, apart from the glorious amounts of wildlife that sing and call, with very little through-traffic up the road. There are a couple small trails that will lead you out into the forested area surrounding the cabin to the north, which was very serene and beautiful. There is also some thick forest on the east and west which allow for a nestled feeling of "away from it all". The cabin itself looks incredibly new, and is very well laid out. The decor and design offer an amazing outdoorsman feel, with rustic touches that all add to the experience. The first floor and loft hold three of the beds and a full bathroom, as well as the kitchen and a living space. The basement has two bedrooms (one with a bed, as of now, and the other with plenty of space for cots or an inflatable mattress), another full bathroom, and a gorgeous living space. The kitchen was fully outfitted with functioning appliances, dishes, flatware, glassware, and made it very easy to cook without much planning. I noticed a grill outside as well, though I never did use it. There is also a nice fire pit that allowed for bonfires every night. The homeowners were generous enough to supply wood as well. Communication between Tiffany and myself was excellent, she was incredibly helpful in every way. Apart from me being away from my electronics all week, we were able to have quick conversations through the VRBO messaging system, and she was very thorough to answer any and all questions I had. She was also kind enough to leave a trail map for me of the local national forest when I had inquired about hiking. If you're a hanger like me, however, be sure to bring a hammock stand if you would like to hang near the open area of the backyard. A little further in the woods there were plenty of places to hang my hammocks, but I did have to use my stand to have one near/in the open area of the back yard. This was an absolutely amazing experience, and could be fitting of just about any kind of outing. I would absolutely recommend this to others, and will hopefully be back again next year (if not sooner). It was a five star experience in my eyes, no question.

Peaceful and disconnected.

Went for a weekend to explore the local area and leave the work hustle behind for a while. Had no internet connection or cell phone service while at the cabin, which was perfectly fine. Nothing better than completely getting unplugged for a time to cook, relax and have good conversations. We will definitely be back again. Thanks to the owners for a great cabin and a perfect location. Bruce and Martina

Nice stay for a getaway unplugged

Super cute. Loved the view of the beautiful property and the wooded decor of the cabin inside. That wooden dining table was a very beautiful piece of work. The room with the pool table was a great hang out (though there was only one usable pool stick as the others had no tips) Did it stop us from playing? Absolutely not!. As mentioned in a previous review, the stairs are steep and the basement stairs have no railing. Every single piece of furniture was comfortable! It was pretty exciting to see wild turkeys and a constant visitation of hummingbirds. We loved that were trails to explore but because we're city folks....we didn't get too far before turning back, lol! The only things we found to be problematic was that there was no wifi or phone service. The cell booster was enough so that you could make emergency calls only in the house. We later learned that if you go to the end of the driveway or started at the beginning of the trails your service would kick in. But we were grateful we had a heads up about the lack of service and that we DID have one AT&T person in our group so we could check in with our families. I would highly recommend downloading your music before your trip here. Print out things that require internet as you won't be able to access them in the house. The ice maker on the fridge didn't work so glad we were able to contact a friend to bring some before their arrival. We were pretty impressed with all the kitchen cookware & dishes available because we definitely cooked a lot! Tiffany was great with communication and booking with her so last minute was painless! She gave us directions in case the GPS gave us the wrong ones.....which it did. And even sent some info on tourist attractions nearby to plan prior to our trip out. Overall, I would definitely stay here again but will be better prepared next time to be "unplugged". The fees are a bit pricey for booking and had to make our stay one day shorter to able to pay it.
