Get away from the hustle bustle and relax with nature. Farm house is nestled near the Wayne National Forest and historic Marietta, Ohio. Also just 1 mile from Grizer Castle. This old farmhouse has been opened up and has a spacious first floor with two bedrooms on the second level. Der Bauernhof is the name of this quaint old farm house. Take a hike or sit on the deck and watch the deer, turkeys and numerous birds. We have created a pond and stocked it with many varieties of fish. If you’re interested in fishing, let me know and we’ll be able to assist you.

Girls Trip

This was the perfect place for our mother/daughters trip. It was really clean and had all the amenities we needed. The property is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Long weekend

The house was easy to find. Off the beaten path but very nice. The house was very clean and well stocked if you forgot any toiletries. They have it well decorated to suit the country charm that is the house. There are board games available and plenty of movies to watch. The yard was well groomed for our arrival. I would recommend that you check out this property if your in the neighborhood and need a place to stay.

Enjoyable and peaceful stay

Our first time using Vrbo and everything was just as it is advertised. We stayed here a week during Thanksgiving to visit local family. It was perfect for our needs. The owners did a great job of decorating and adding details to make things go smoothly. Our boys enjoyed the trails and exploring the property. The views are beautiful from every room. Definitely looking forward to staying here in the near future. Thank you thank you 😊
