We had a crew of 6-7 every night for a construction job. House is very spacious in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had everything my wife needed to cook and meal prep for all of us. If we are back in the area I would definitely reserve again.

We arrived to the surprise of a Christmas Tree that was set up to make us feel at home for Christmas while we stayed. The house was lovely and clean and spacious. We love booking through Chirika and would be happy to do it again!

Very nice location and neighborhood
Loved the decor, clealiness of interior and all the rooms were as pictured. The two tvs in the other rooms did not work which was disappointing as lounging in bed was going to be a plus. The carport could have been cleaned off but the host was very attentive in responding and was nice. Was unaware of no cable but WIFI worked well

Regarding the TVs, we do note at check-in and on the booking site that all TVs in the cottage are smart TVs. Most guests log into their own streaming apps for preferred viewing. That said, we were happy to go above and beyond by providing our DirecTV app access so you could enjoy the NBA playoffs during your stay.
As for the carport, we’re unsure what the concern may have been—if there was any natural yard debris during your visit, we sincerely apologize, as we always ensure the area is trash-free and tidy. We take great pride in offering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment, and we’ve not received prior concerns regarding the outdoor space or amenities. Your input helps us continue to improve, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!

Katie’s Cottage… AWESOME
This home is just what we needed. Having to visit Columbia due to a death in the family is never the ideal reason for a trip. We all were very reluctant to have to stay in a nearby hotel for multiple days. However, coming across this diamond in the rough, made the trip so much more tolerable and dare I say enjoyable.
