About the host
Hosted by Megan Clark
Welcome! With a professional background in music and the restaurant hospitality industry, I have always had a deep appreciation for harmony, setting the perfect atmosphere, and ensuring people feel truly taken care of. These days, I am channeling that energy into my other true passions: home design and vacation hosting.
I absolutely love the process of renovating and creating beautiful, welcoming spaces for people to gather. When I am not managing the Forest Inn or working on a design project, you can usually find me in the kitchen baking from scratch, or spending time outdoors with my family. I know how important a peaceful, seamless getaway is, and I have put a lot of heart into making sure this property is the perfect retreat for your family or group. I look forward to hosting you!

Why they chose this property
chose this specific area of Ashland City because it truly offers the absolute best of both worlds. Finding a sprawling, 5-acre wooded sanctuary that feels entirely secluded, yet is only a 25-minute drive to the heart of downtown Nashville, is incredibly rare.
I wanted to create a space where guests could wake up to the sound of birds, drink their morning coffee while watching deer and wild turkeys roam the property, and end their days stargazing without the glare of city lights. But it was equally important to be close enough to Nashville that heading into town for world-class live music, incredible restaurants, and a fun night out is completely effortless. Plus, being in Cheatham County means we are surrounded by beautiful local nature, including the Cumberland River and nearby hiking trails, giving guests endless options to explore or just simply unplug

What makes this property unique
What truly sets the Forest Inn apart is the seamless blend of outdoor seclusion and elevated indoor comfort. You can be completely immersed in nature without giving up the modern amenities you love.
Here are a few things that make staying here a unique experience:
• The Private 5-Acre Forest & Orchard: You have an entire wooded sanctuary to yourself. Between the maturing apple and peach orchard, the landscape lighting that brings the trees to life at night, and the incredible local wildlife (including deer, wild turkeys, and owls), the property feels like your own private park.
• The Brand-New Spa Experience: Our brand-new, 7-seater hot tub is seamlessly embedded into the expansive multi-level deck. With 65 therapy jets, ambient LED lighting, and a soothing waterfall, it is the ultimate place to relax and stargaze without any city light pollution.
• Thoughtful, Eclectic Design: The interior is designed to be both highly functional and beautifully inspiring. From the fully equipped chef's kitchen to the custom-furnished bedrooms and dedicated coffee and mixology stations, every detail is meant to make your group feel completely at home.
• The Best of Both Worlds: You get the absolute quiet of a country retreat with a dedicated fire pit for roasting s'mores, yet you are only a 25-minute drive from the world-class live music and incredible dining of downtown Nashville.
