This is an uber convenient location. I am from a small town and didn’t realize how many homeless are in Seattle and nearby this location- a country bumpkin issue. Clean room, everything as described and enjoyed my stay immensely. Pike place was a walkable distance- overall great experience
This was a lovely place to stay in downtown Seattle. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating to our ever changing schedule. She was very flexible and helpful when we had any questions. The stay was cozy, welcoming, and nicely decorated.
This property worked very well for us. Great location in Seattle and is very close to 1 line making it very easy to get to and from SEATAC. Keep in mind it is a two story walk up in an older building.
This stay was awesome. Great area, fair price. Loved the heritage building. Nicely remodeled. Could have a bit larger TVNo air but lots of fans and beware lots of steep stairs. Overall a very nice accommodation
The location of this place is great, walkable to so many places. Stairs are steep but manageable. Unit is clean and quiet, a bit warm but plenty of fans. The neighborhood is a bit dicey but you just have to be smart, especially after dark. For the price it was what I expected.
Outstanding place to stay! We loved the little bar downstairs. It had a great atmosphere. They give you a discount if you mention renting the room above! The main reason we wanted this location was to walk to a mariners game. Perfect! We felt safe and it was a short distance. The suite was adorable, clean, and comfortable. Final note...parking. So easy! We got a spot right in front of the building. There is lots of street parking available amd its free after 6pm. Stay here!
Comfortable apartment convenient to tourist locations
The check-in process was thorough and easy-to-follow. The apartment was clean and comfortable. No air conditioning, but we were able to keep it cool with the windows open. Plenty of fans available. Darcy was very easy to communicate with. The location is perfect for visiting the major sites

Liked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
Mold in the bathroom. Gas smell in the bathroom/laundry room.
Darcy was very communicative.
But the area near is an unhoused community play ground. It worked for our concert trip.
A short stay to see a concert and have a close and convenient place to stay. It it important to note that building doesn't have an elevator so plan to carry your luggage. Butler garage is conveniently located across the street for parking.
Easy to walk to and from for stadium access, and many other attractions. I loved sitting in the living room on down time and watching and listening to the city live action below. I really like the older style lamps, like my grandma used to have and I really miss seeing. Great little kitchen, had plenty of items for cooking or reheating take home. VERY comfy bed, i slept really well. Shower and bathroom were great. Hot water really quick. Great old building and everything I love about staying in a city.
Pictures don’t do this cute little place justice! I love how they embrace the nature of this historic building! Cozy and spacious! I can’t wait to stay there again. Host was helpful and informative! The stairs are not for the weak though just being honest if you aren’t able to lift your suitcase. Pioneer Square is a fun little area to explore all with in walking distance too! For the history buffs, one idea I would offer is some historic info about the building or area to read if available.
The room itself was very nice, except that there was no air conditioning (the property manager was very gracious to open the windows and have four fans circulating air since Seattle is not too hot). However, we were NOT prepared for the two very steep flights of steps up to the room. My mom is a bit on the older side, so it was difficult for her to climb up the steps and for me to carry all our luggage up. I should have read the reviews before we booked because multiple people mentioned the stairs, but the fact that it is nowhere mentioned on the property details is very disappointing. Again, the room itself was nice and as advertised and the check-in process was very smooth and easy, but the stairs were a major disappointment to not be aware of beforehand.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Because we disembarked early from our cruise ship we requested an early check-in. We received a response within the hour advising that they would organise the cleaning of this apartment to be completed first to accommodate us which was lovely! We had been travelling for 4 months and had several pieces of luggage. were stored our luggage ommunication was good

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
The place was clean overall. (The microwave could use a cleaning.) And at first I thought that the TV table and surrounding area were not clean, but eventually realized that what was scattered around was pieces of the brick, not leftover crumbs from Doritos. The location was great for public transportation. Shops and food were nearby. It was not the quietest in the living room, but the bedroom was in the back, so it was quiet back there. I found it fun that Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour was under this building. Exited out right under the bedroom window. Gives a perspective on the old brick inside crumbling. Also, the kitchen sink drain was very slow, which I brought up to the host in a message. The place is very used but it is a good option for the downtown area. And as others have mentioned, be aware that the stairs to the room are numerous.
Perfect place for our 1 night stay. It was close to public transport so moving around was very easy. Bed was very comfortable and we got to do some laundry to get home with clean clothes. The only thing is that there isn’t an elevator, so we had to carry our bags up two steep flights of stairs.
I was very happy with my room. It is close to Union Station. It was very spacious. The water pressure was great. It had all the essential items- soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, towels, silverware, etc. It was fully furnished that way. There are a lot of bars and restaurants near by. You are in the middle of the city, so there will be a lot of noise, sirens, and during my stay, a lot of early morning construction outside of the building. The location is desirable for walking to sports events, the waterfront, and to the space needle. However the neighborhood is tough. There is a park across the street where homeless people and others hang out throughout the night. The people can very loud! I had no issues walking the sidewalks but it could be dangerous late at night. The room is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. I enjoyed Seattle and I would definitely stay again. The host provided excellent directions in a timely fashion.
The inside was very well designed. The exposed brick was very nice. The kitchen and the bathroom were comfortable and usable. The bed was comfortable enough, and the place was well laid out.The neighborhood used to be a lot rougher, but a lot of the beautiful buildings are being restored or have been restored. There still is an element of shadiness out on the street, but it is within walking distance of a lot of places you would want to go. Overall, it was a great place to stay. The door entrance itself is 109 1/2, which is not made clear ahead of time.
Within a short (less than 10min) walk to Lumen Field as promised in the listing. On the third floor above a bar that is also owned by the property owner. Only downside was walking up those stairs carrying our bags. Washer/dryer, microwave, keurig, and hygiene products provided. Was nice that the AC was on for us prior to our arrival.
Darcy was a kind and communicative host! Location is SUPERB! located right in Pioneer Square, the property was walking distance from so many wonderful places (water taxi/ferry , pike market ,& much more. The location has a rich history as well and Darcy has done a wonderful job of maintaining the history and uniqueness of the building. It was an absolute delight staying here .The building still felt very safe and secure and I greatly appreciated that there is no way in unless you have booked. As always remember to be aware of your surroundings! Thank you Darcy for the lovely stay in Seattle!!
