Fourth of July Getaway

The photos do not do it justice the place was so nice cozy and perfect for our family of five. The host was responsive when there was issues of Internet and so helpful in suggesting a lake near by for our kids to enjoy.

A perfect home base for northland adventures

We enjoyed the beach at Birch Lake, visiting Ely, and taking a walk along the Hike and Bike. The space was terrific. We loved drinking our coffee in the sun room!

Great place to stay and very affordable

Nice quiet neighborhood, easy check in, super clean and comfortable, kitchen well stocked with everything you would need, comfortable needs and couches, enjoyed the sunroom. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. Was in town for the Ely marathon!

Winter Wonderland

We went to Ely to go dog sledding and stayed in this lovely home in Babbitt. It exceeded our expectations! It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone and would definitely stay there on future trips to the Ely area.

This was our first experience renting a vacation home and this home was just amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. I took my father and son fishing on Birch Lake. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor deck looking at the evening skies. We would stay here again!"

Wonderful Home

This home is perfect for its variety of space - indoor/outdoor/3-seasons room - and is adorned with some really neat art pieces with what I’m guessing is a German/Dutch (?) background. The kitchen is generously stocked. Bedrooms are fine. Lots of linens available. We enjoyed riding the trails in the area and hope we can stay here again! Corrections to the listing…no barbecue grill available. Patio chairs are in bad shape. Two have their seats ripped out. There is one bathtub/shower. There is NOT a hot tub or spa tub.

Lovely Home made us feel Welcome in Babbitt

We came up for a week to tend to some business with our land in Ely that we purchase last year. I have been coming up to the Ely area since 1996, and this is the first time we stayed in Babbitt. What a lovely little town! Quiet and peaceful. This home was so awesome! Nearly everything we needed and there is Zups and Dollar General in town for things you may need. Plenty of room for us to spread out and get cozy. We cooked a good number of our meals here, even made some homemade Pierogi, using the kitchen aid mixer to make the dough quick and easy. Beds are so comfy! And I love the floors throughout! Even tried the Sauna and it was nice for relaxing. We got to see the Northern Lights for our first time, looking right out the front window. So amazing! Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Adorable house, every amenity and then some. Cooked in the kitchen all three nights we were there. Walked the little neighborhood at night, very dear neighbors who gave us some pointers. Spent our days roaming around Ely, thank you Andrea for hosting us!

The house was very clean and very nicely updated. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. There was just some miscommunication about check in and amenities available. But the host was very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Was told the code to get in was last 4 digits of my Tele on VBRO, we had to wait 1 1/2 hour to get in lucky for us a near by neighbor had owners number, very frustrating, should have a Tele number to call when there are issues, I have TMobile and no service for me to reach out, still pissed about it

Very nice place! Very well equipped/supplied. Great location! Host responded very promptly to our questions! We cc skied, dog sledded, fat tire biked, and snow shoes all within 30 minutes
