Nicely renovated, short walk to Beech Mtn Resort

We found the condo in great shape. It was exactly what my wife and I was looking for. The beds slept great and there are lots of games available to wind down after a fun filled day on the mountain. The condo was very clean and updated. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. We look forward to staying here in the future!

Great location and really pretty condo

Condo was perfect for what we needed! We went for a friend of mines birthday and had a wonderful time. It’s a great location to get to Beech Mountain Resort to Tube and Ski!! Eva ( The owner) was wonderful too! Definitely recommend this property!!!

Muddy hazardous mess

Hazardous entrance had mud everywhere due to the HOA folks pressure washing while it wasn’t the owners fault the HOA neglects cleaning the bottom deck and left tons of water and mud after pressure washing which was unannounced. I ended up falling and getting busted up pretty badly even with sneakers on that were brand new. I will admit the homeowner was embarrassed and apologetic and ended up refunding one night of my stay due to the issues. The inside of the unit is very nice but the view like others have said is much to be desired and the rear deck was a mess it needed to be cleaned at minimum but i suspect our HOA folks brushed everything from the top unit down. I don’t think i will stay here again not for this kind of money.

The property looked very different than the photos. I was quite dissapointed.

It was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed however the walkway was covered in green algae and I almost fell several times walking to the unit. It is a ground floor unit and it rained very hard while I was there. As a result the walkway into the unit flooded and I stepped out the front door into 3 inches of water. The neighbor above this unit was vacuuming at 1:15 am and up until 4am the first two nights with the TV on very loud. The noise was a negative factor as well as the disparity in the photos published online vs the in person experience. That said, it was very clean and well organized with a very nice bath and kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the attention to detail in terms of dishes, utensils, and bath sundries was better than expected. Parking was easy.

Beautiful Property!! Everything my wife and I could have need plus more!!

The condo is absolutely awesome! All appliances are Top Notch and you have everything u need to make a meal, coffee, drinks ect. There are lots of electrical outlets and USB charging stations all over the condo. The heated bathroom floors make things much more comfortable. We came for the beech mountain resort and were only min away.

Would be helpful to exchange bedroom vanity for a bench so guests could place luggage on top of it. Please add to your VRBO description that you provide hair dryer and shampoo and conditioner. Would not have packed that stuff had we known. Kitchen well stocked. Nice decor. Optimal for 2 persons. Our 3 fit snugly with luggage/ski gear. Beech MountAin and town are nice. Fred’s Market is great.

Clean Condo

We stayed for 3 nights at the condo! We loved that it was so clean and updated inside! They had everything we needed in the kitchen although we didn't cook at all. The kids were pleasantly surprised to see they had board games and Clue was one of them! Although the condo is small it was fine for our family of 4 for 3 nights. The only con was the front door area was very dirty from rain, mud, etc and there was no floor mat inside to wipe feet. Although they did leave rags to use. Overall a great stay!

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed staying at this condo. The kitchen & bathroom have been updated nicely, and the kitchen was well provisioned with very nice china, glassware, pots/pans, etc. The beds were WONDERFUL, nice linens and very comfortable. Nice laminate wood floors throughout and the condo was very clean. Steps from the entrance to the Beech Mountain ski resort. The outside of the condos are very dated and you don't have a view of the mountains, but that did not bother our family. We were close to everything in Banner Elk.

Wonderful condo, close to slopes

The condo is beautifully renovated. Everything we needed was provided, from paper towels, to dish detergent, to tissuesThe faux fireplace was wonderful!!! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean. The condo is an end unit, no one below you or on one side. The walk from the parking lot was down some stairs and then a little bit more walking, 1 minute, but keep that in mind when you have to carry luggage or small tired children. I also had an opportunity to meet Eva who manages it and she was very nice. Teenagers could walk to the slopes, we drove to the slopes (3 minute drive).

Great condo with limited view in boring location

Pros: The condo is been beautifully decorated and nicely furnished. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen that I have seen in over 20 years of renting condos. The even provided aluminum foil, plastic wrap, coffee filters, and spices for cooking. Having heated floors in the bathroom was a wonderful treat! The bed and bath linens were nice. Cons: The view from the condo was so small that I would not have called it "mountain view" in the description. The plunger in the sink in the bathroom would not work so my husband had to put a bowl in the sink to be able to shave. The 2 queen beds in the bedroom took up so much room in the bedroom that there was very little room to walk. Storage for clothing was limited to a 1/2 of one closet because the water heater took up 1/2 of it. The chest of drawers smelled so musty that we had to leave our clothes in our suitcase. The town of Beech Mountain was a ghost town. Only 4 restaurants to choose from and 3 of those had horrible or so-so reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor. To access the condo you have to walk down 1 1/2 flights of stairs and then all the way to the end of the building. The walkways are not well lit so take a flashlight to be able to see after dark. If you are looking for a place to go and not leave the condo for days, this is the place for you. If you want to stay where there is a good view of the mountains and have restaurants to choose from.....stay somewhere else.

Great Location and beautiful interior!

This was the perfect place to stay for our girls weekend getaway! This remodeled condo had everything you could possibly need for a stay. It was great for a summer/fall stay as the Emerald Outback hiking trails are super close and we could also walk to the two bars/restaurants in town, Famous Fast Eddies and The Mile High Tavern. In the winter months it would be convenient as well! Beds were comfortable, very clean and it was nice as females to not be too secluded.
