About this property
Villa Maria in Tinos
Villa Maria is 5 minutes (4 km) from the island’s main port/town. Located at the foot of Exomvourgo mountain offers panoramic sea and mountain views. Quite with it’s own private road, the property offers a great place for relaxation combining fantastic mountain hacking routes and sunny beach holidays.
Isa house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people. Bedrooms are equipped with noise free ceiling fans which are often not necessary since Cyclades Islands and especially Tinos are very cool with light breeze. The house is also equipped with modern mosquito nets installed in all doors and windows allowing you to let the fresh breeze get in the house while keeping insects out.
The Estate which is about 4 acres hosts a second house (homeaway 4265802) with two more bedrooms, two bathrooms that can accommodate 5 more people. If you wish to reserve both houses for groups of up to 12 people or two families please email me.

My parents will welcome you when you arrive and treat you with their own wine and raki made in the estate as well as vegetables and fruits of our own production.
Around the Villa
The estate is located on the west-central part of Tinos, on the foothills of Mount Exomvourgo. The area is one of the most ancient neighborhoods of Greece with remains dating from the Copper Age have been found near Exomvourgo and Geometric period and 5-6th century BC remains have been found at archaeological excavations at mountain's southern foot including a temple of Demeter. A large wall from an Ionian town dating from 1100 BC is sited southwest of Exomvourgo. In the fourth century BC the island's administrative center moved back from Exomvourgo to the coast.
Tripotamos village, next to the house, is one of the oldest villages with arches, arcades, steps, cobbled alleys. The parochial church of Virgin Mary stands out and, on the day of its celebration, the villagers, keeping the tradition alive, organize parties in their houses inviting all guests and worshipers.
