This house was perfect for me, my husband and our dogs. It is quiet, and the hot tub was so nice to soak in. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again!

The location is close to Yosemite and Oakhurst. The cottage is behind the rental office down a somewhat difficult driveway and surrounded by commercial properties and parked cars. Very dark at night, no lights in the parking area. The cottage needs new flooring, a paint job and some new furniture. The housekeeping staff did a good job despite the condition of the place. The photos look way better than the actual place. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a last min idea to get out of town for a night & even though it was last min the host was prompt to get back to me & answer any questions I had before booking. The property was close to restaurants & was a quiet place to relax at.

Charming place with room and thoughtfulness included. I love the separate restroom and shower concept very wise. Beds were inviting and comfy. Kitchen utensils and plates were lovely. Decor made you feel right at home. Needs a little cobweb tidying, but overall lovely place very close proximity to Yosemite. The town has a yummy deli and several pizza places, plus a Vons and lots of fun shops.

Thank you so much for your review, Karla! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Dog House. Since the property is out in the countryside, we do provide ant spray for guests and run regular pest control rounds — but living close to nature means we can't always control everything that comes in from outside. We appreciate you letting us know, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
