Bemus Point lakefront family home with deck, dock, boat slip, sunroom with view
WE REQUIRE A SATURDAY - TO - SATURDAY, 7-NIGHT STAY DURING THE PEAK SUMMER SEASON (MID-JUNE THROUGH MID-SEPTEMBER)!

Our cottage has 5 bedrooms (one with bunk beds for the kids, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, one with a queen and 2 sets of twin bunks, and a master with a king). Additionally, the sun room has a pull-out twin bed, and there's also a twin daybed with twin trundle in the game bungalow (game bungalow has A/C for summer use, but no heat). We have 4 full bathrooms - one with a stand-up shower and 3 with a bathtub/shower. Central heat and central air conditioning provide year-round comfort.
The fully-stocked open kitchen/dining area offers all of the cooking and food prep equipment and space you would need. Our two indoor dining tables seat up-to 14. The dock offers easy access to fishing and swimming, and an open boat slip with pilings for docking your boat. There is plenty of outdoor furniture, including an outdoor dining table with umbrella, adirondack deck chairs, a full hammock, and a single swing hammock. The summer game bungalow is one of our renters’ favorites – a place to escape to play foosball, darts, or one of the many board games stocked in the cottage. The game bungalow is a perfect bedroom/retreat for pre-teens or teens during their vacation. We keep the house stocked with lawn games and Schwinn cruiser bikes for our renters to use also.
A small, stackable washer-dryer is available. There is off-street parking for up-to 4 cars, plus street-side overflow parking 1 block away.
1/8 mile from the cottage is Bridgeview -- a mini-mart/gas station/liquor-n-beer shop/small deli -- which provides absolute convenience.

Very lovely home with great amenities in the home. No major complaints at all except for the scratchy one ply toilet paper for us old people and bath tubs very slippery with no bath mats or temporary grab bars. Need to think about that for us older folks that really enjoyed your renting your home again. Thank you so much we had great time and you have done a wonderful job with renting out this lovely home!
There were 8 adults. Everything was clean except the shelves on the 2 refrigerator doors had opened condiments not very appetizing. We didnt need to use those shelves because there are 2 refrigerators which is really nice. One other negative we could only sign into 1 tv. The one in sunroom. Couldn't use bedroom tvs. Everything else was perfect. Beautiful view! So many games. Comfortable beds. So convenient to restaurants and boat rental. Wish we woukd have had more time. Hope to go back next yearvif available.
This is a beautiful home with everything a family needs to have a relaxing time together. It is spacious and comfortable and has a fabulous lakefront view.
The lake view was amazing. The dock was very stable and great. The host was wonderful and helpful. The house was beautiful in every way. All rooms were great. The house was very clean and all supplies we avable.our whole family loved it. And we will try to rent next year.
We absolutely love it here. This was our 3rd year staying here and the house is our little getaway on the lake. The owners are lovely, communicative and have this property set up for an amazing fun time at the lake with indoor and outdoor games.
Nine friends, of 30+ years, had a wonderful weekend together. This home is perfect for a large gathering. So much space, clean and everything you could need. There is a beautiful view over the lake to watch the sunrise, lots of games and puzzles and close to entertainment.
We would recommend a stay here any time of the year.
The house/property/town had a lot to offer, unfortunately we didn't get to fully utilize all the amenities as we were in town for a wedding. House was a great size and fit our family of 8 perfectly with rooms left to spare. Would recommend this property and stay here again.
This was our third trip here. Location is great & well-stocked, owner very responsive to questions & issues. I do think that some minor improvements could be made to accommodate Seniors—grab bars, etc. but overall great stay as usual!!
We had a wonderful stay over the long holiday weekend. The house was well stocked and there were so many games and activities at the house. The house was just a short distance away from many lake activities and the downtown area. We would definitely recommend to to others and come back.
This property is in an ideal location tucked away in a cute little neighborhood. The house is perfect for a large group and the open layout of the kitchen makes it awesome for everyone to hang out together.
Lisa was super responsive to any questions we had and we can't wait to go back next year!
Fun stay and great place. Still a bit too cool for water activities, but over all good location. There is plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped.
Beautiful place for a large group! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was perfect for everyone to gather in! Having bumper pool right in the kitchen was a big hit! Truly enjoyed our stay!
Our family of 14 spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at this house. This house fit us perfectly, from the sleeping arrangements, to turkey dinner, to all of us gathered together in the living room to watch sports and Hallmark Christmas movies! This house was more spacious than the pictures depict. We also had game nights and walked to town to check out the shops. The owner was quick to respond to questions. Fantastic place!
Great place for our reunion - rooms were very comfy and enjoyed playing some of your board games. The area is beautiful and what a way to wake up -- the lake view was fantastic!
Great home for a group get away. Nice to find a place that actually seats the entire group at dining table and in living area (we were a group of 8). Beautiful location with great views. Also, had everything you need for a getaway from home, no need to bring anything other than food, clothing, fishing gear and camera.

I grew up in Bemus Point, enjoying all that lake living has to offer including swimming, waterskiing, ice cream cones, bike rides, sunsets, and enjoying a drink and the breeze while splashing my toes in the water from the end of a dock. I also loved everything Western New York lends to a snow-lover who enjoys snowskiing, snowmobiling, sledding, snowball fights, and that fabulous mug of hot chocolate that comes at the end of a Chautauqua winter day. My dream was to someday own a cottage on Chautauqua Lake to allow me the pleasure of spending quality time with my extended local family, and to share the beauty of this place with others. That started with my husband, Matt. On his first visit to Chautauqua County, he immediately fell in love with the summertime vibe and Bemus Point’s charm. We were married there in summer 2013!
Together we worked to fulfill our dream to own a piece of lakefront paradise :). Now, whenever we need to escape our hectic lives in Baltimore, MD and slow down to enjoy life, we head straight for the cottage. We know you’ll enjoy our lakehouse as much as we do, and would be honored to share it with you!!!
Why they chose this property
Location, location, location - there's just nothing like being on the lakefront and being able to walk, bike ride, or boat to Bemus Point!
