For entertainment, there’s a foosball table, mini corn-hole, Connect 4, board games, and high-speed Wi-Fi internet. Outside, the property has ample parking for vehicles and boat trailers, and plenty of space to turn around without backing. However, with full-size trucks and longer boats, backing may be required. There’s also room next to the garage to back in and park or turn around.

Guests have access to all living and outdoor spaces except the garage, the closet under the stairs, and the bunkroom closet. The closet under the stairs is locked and used for owner storage and cleaning supplies for the cleaning crew. The closet in the bunkroom is locked and contains the HVAC unit.

Anchors Away is nestled in the quiet, scenic community of Faubush Creek on Lake Cumberland. The area offers a relaxing blend of permanent residents, vacation homes, seasonal rentals, and rolling farmland, giving it a charming rural feel while still being close to the water.

You’ll notice that many residents in the neighborhood make use of golf carts, side-by-sides, and four-wheelers to get to and from the lake and explore the surrounding area. This laid-back mode of transportation is part of the local lifestyle, especially during the warmer months when lake activities are in full swing.

Whether you’re here to relax, explore the lake, or enjoy the beautiful countryside, the peaceful atmosphere and friendly neighbors will make you feel right at home.

The nearest town is 24 miles away, about a 35-minute drive, so it's best to stock up on supplies before you arrive. There are small grocery stores and gas stations located 15-20 minutes from the house for any last-minute needs.

For boating enthusiasts, there's a private boat ramp just half a mile from the house. While there's available parking at the ramp, it can get busy on holiday weekends. If it’s too crowded, you can drop your boat trailer at the house and drive your vehicle back to the ramp. The shoreline on both sides of the ramp is perfect for beaching your boat and bungee anchoring, so don’t forget to bring a stake or bungee for that purpose. There’s ample parking in the driveway for both boats and vehicles, ensuring you have plenty of space for your adventures!
