Very clean and the perfect amount of space for our stay. Centrally located and it was nice to have the hot tub and pool just steps from our door. Excellent communication from the host.
Our experience was great. The condo was extremely comfortable. Having so many restaurants and stores within walking distance was the icing on the cake.

Been a long time since the floor was scrubbed. AC spewed a musty odor. Bath towels/wash cloth supply skimpy. Animal odors detected. Drapery didn’t cover windows. Kitchen supply skimpy. Fan in living room inoperative.Very few outlets available. The unit needs a serious upgrade!
This place was not clean! Floods, counters ,showers mirrors. The drain traps were terrible! The patio was filthy so we couldn’t sit outside. It was a cute place just need really good scrubbing and fresh paint keeping it clean should be the easy part. Also the bed had a jack holding it up!!! Like where was located that was nice.
The apartment was not clean. The baseboards and behind furniture was dirty and dusty. The light fixtures were dirty. The shower in the main bath did not drain. The patio was so filthy, we brought towels to sit on and did not want to touch anything. There was garbage out on the patio. The rug in the living room is stained and disgusting. The pillows in the living room are coming apart. There is peeling paint on the front door and the trim throughtout the apartment.
Nice little condo close to everything. Was easy to spend hours in the hot tub too.

Family friendly place
Patio area was quite dirty, travel cot was not on site -however one was dropped off the following day after connecting with the company. Great location, and the pool was warm. I’d stay here again.
We flew out for a funeral and fully enjoyed our stay at the condo. Water pressure in the showers was awesome, and the pool and hot tub were right outside our condo.

These condos are 50 years old, but the interior of this one has been updated much more recently. The kitchen had a mismatched assortment of dishes and utensils. While mostly adequate to our needs, we frequently ran out of plates and needed to hand wash them occasionally during meals. One nice thing was that there were a few cooking essentials in the cupboards (spices, oil, etc.), which would have been difficult to travel with but were nice to have in the kitchen. The biggest problem with our stay was the lack of communication. We got texted a door code before our arrival, and there was a Wi-Fi network and password inside the unit and some information on restaurants, but there wasn’t any other information about the site provided. Parking is restricted at the site, and we asked if we were in the right spot (turns out we weren't) but didn't get a response until 1:36 a.m. In general, the replies to our questions came in the middle of the night the day after asking. The pool looked nice, but we couldn't use it because it was behind a locked gate, and we didn't know how to get inside. It took 2 days to get a response about how to access amenities. There are some unresolved maintenance issues at the property. The dishwasher isn't properly attached to the countertop and is a tip hazard. One of the beds is broken and being held up with a jack.We also saw a few cockroaches inside, which, to the owner's credit, they offered to treat immediately after we informed them.
Quiet, comfortable, good location near Old Town, Zoo
We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
Quiet location and an area we prefer near Old Town and the Zoo. Even in the midst of winter, the hot tub and pool were clean and usable which was a nice surprise, we used both. Living room and kitchen and bedrooms were functional with the basics. Bathrooms were average sized but deluxe, large showers with rock floor and heated tiles. Super clean.
We had a wonderful stay. The two bathrooms are updated, furnished well and clean. The beds were soft but comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished, even with some k-cups for the coffee maker. The location was great for hiking, restaurants and the condo pool. The only 3 negatives are: the guest bedroom light is so dim it functions worse than a flashlight, we had one dead cockroach on the bathroom floor, and there were no hand towels in the bathrooms. We loved the place and would go back.
My brother and I thought the place was great. My wife did the booking. She and I would love to book it next spring. I would like a bedside lamp and maybe one side chair in living room. Closet door in master bedroom a little funky. I left it alone as I didn’t want to break it.

Very disappointed
I am providing the following information in the hopes that the host/owner will address the issues for future tenants.
On a positive note, the outdoor amenities were fabulous (pool, spa and grills) and the neighbors were friendly and amazingly quiet.
There were several unrepaired damages and many other issues:
• There were rotten potatoes in the kitchen
• There was trash under all furniture
• There was dirty underwear from a previous tenant under the desk & clothes left in the master dresser
• At least two power outlets (one in each bedroom) were completely nonfunctional, thus limiting our set up of things like chargers and other devices
• The dishwasher was not properly installed and tips over when you open the door
• The MBR Door is falling off its hinges
• The shower drains were clogged & filthy
• It “sleeps 6” but there were only dishes & utensils for 4. We have local friends but couldn't invite them to dinner at our place.
• The description advertised king beds, but they were queens (this has been updated since talking to the POC)
• The description advertises “starter set” of cleaning supplies and toiletries but the dish soap was just 2 empty bottles under the sink, and the paper towel roll was almost empty.
We informed our POC & he had the condo re-cleaned without charging us, but the other issues remained.
There were more issues that made this a very disappointing VRBO listing but there is no more room to list them.

Some Good, Some Bad
March 2024
Lots of good things to share about the Thomas Road Treasure. It was clean and updated. Basic supplies were left such as trash bags, soap, etc... The condo proximity to the pool, gym and hot tub is great! Overall great location in Scottsdale.
Challenges-
The condo listed as 2 king beds, but is 2 queen beds.
Keep in mind we are frequent Arizona travelers. The cold water in every faucet was scalding hot. The floors in the hallway and both bathrooms were incredibly hot due to the hot water in the floor pipes. I contacted property management immediately on Saturday. He called but was not able to do anything Saturday. I called again on Sunday and he said he contacted the local-condo maintenance team. I called back 5 hours later since no change so far. No one contacted us on Monday. Finally, a maintenance team arrive on Tuesday afternoon and agreed something was wrong. They said all they could do at the moment was turn the thermostat down on the hot water flowing in the cold water lines. We never heard anything else the rest of the week. We had to get ready and use these sauna bathrooms our whole stay. It was only 65 degrees outside. The property owner never updated or let us know plans going forward. It was uncomfortable.
I contacted the property manager the last evening for a partial refund. They agreed to $300 which is less than one night fee. I tell you this because if something does go wrong, it won't be fixed.
This unit was very disappointing and not as advertised. Kitchen had the bare minimum necessities. Upon checking in we found multiple electrical sockets not working and multiple burnt out lights. The master suite shower drain was clogged and the dishwasher literally fell out of the cabinet when we opened the door. Messaging with the host went days without response or repair. When the host did eventually send a repair person to the suite they never notified us they would be arriving. We came home to find that someone had been in the suite without any notice provided to us. The repair crew also turned the A/C off allowing the unit to heat up in the 100 degree heat. The unit is advertised as having access to laundry. Yet we found that the provided key fob didn’t work in any of the laundry rooms. Regular tenants informed us that laundry access to VRBO renters had been cut off several months prior. The morning before we were set to leave the shower drain again became clogged. We again messaged the host advising and requesting repair. We received zero communication back from the host and the shower remained clogged with standing water in the shower until we checked out. Very disappointing, not at all maintained, and customer service from host was terrible!
