Great Location and prompt answer from the owner

Overall our stay was good. I should have asked a couple of questions when it came to W/D listed on the website. I thought they were in the apartment, but they were actually common area laundry rooms that cost. The apartment is in a great location with access to lots of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Jon was always quick to answer questions and give guidance on any issue that arrived.

I always encourage guests to contact me right away if they have any questions or concerns. Laundry information is listed in the property description, under “General”. Washing Machine and Clothes Dryer are both listed as “Coin-Op”, and “just down hall” to disclose they are located in the nearby laundry room and have a nominal cost. I was happy to welcome Shawna as a 1st time VRBO guest, and it’s understandable she may have overlooked this info prior to booking. The laundry facilities also include a large sink for hand washing, and convenient folding tables. The floor directly below also offers machines accepting debit cards. I’m glad the great location was so enjoyed, and proximity to amazing amenities. I also highly appreciate Shawna’s acknowledgement of our customer service!

Old Town Base Camp

Jon’s apartment is conveniently located, has great views, and renovated interior well decorated. If you are interested in visiting Old Town Scottsdale and in the market for two full bedrooms with full baths this is great value. Jon is available 24/7 and responds right away. Highly recommend.

Great Location

The condo is located in a great area close to Old Town Scottsdale. Was perfect for us as we were attending the spring training baseball games. Jon was amazing host- very quick to respond to any request and provided lots of great suggestions for places to eat to Cigar bars. If we had any questions about the rental - he answered very quickly. He was able to allow access a few hours early(which was so kind) as we had arrived in mid morning flights. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable experience Thank you

Short Stay in Scottsdale

We rented this property with another couple for our annual spring training baseball trip. Unfortunately, the games were called off and we ended up cutting short our stay by one day. The owner Jon was a pleasure to work with and we had no surprises during our stay. The property was clean and neat, and in a great location that allowed us to walk to Old Town. We would definitely consider this property again for our next trip to Scottsdale.

The property was a good centralized location for activities in and around the Phoenix area. The owner (Jon) was great to work with and rapid in communication response before, during and after the rental process. I would not hesitate to rent from Jon again in the future.

Great Location but needs attention.

Let me begin by saying the owner Jon is a great guy with great intentions. We spent 6 weeks in this condo. It has been "updated" however the quality of the work is substandard. The slate floor tiles in the kitchen, dining, living & 2nd bedroom were installed unevenly which allows your sandals to get caught making tripping a possibility. In addition the slate floors do not clean well because dirt gets stuck in all the creaveces so you must always wear shoes. Jon was kind enough to have the cleaning company come & clean the floors which made it better. The location of the condo is perfect but the late night noise level was a bit much for us. I think this location is better suited for younger people.

I’m sorry Mike had this experience. Although he is in his 70s, guest of all ages have enjoyed their stay here— see our other great reviews! Prior to their stay, the property was meticulously cleaned, including all flooring vacuumed and mopped. Mike only complained of the floors being dirty 2 full weeks into his stay, after use by him, his wife, and family/friends— In response, (and as a 1-time courtesy), I sent cleaners at my expense to re-clean the floors. Mike’s wife suggested I demo and replace all tile flooring as a result of slight unevenness of the natural slate stone— In response, I offered to install rugs to alleviate “trip-hazard” fears (this was ignored). Guest concerns extended to the TV— In response, I purchased and personally installed a Brand New 55” 4K SmartTV and provided a subscription to Amazon Prime Video. And concerns extended to a neighbor putting a trash bag in front of her door (guests had repeatedly expressed frustration to the on-site managment office prior to informing me)— In response, I immediately and politely contacted the neighbor, who agreed to keep it inside. I had not heard of any noise concerns until now. Despite addressing each and every issue raised, and having been assured of what a wonderful stay they had, I was very surprised to see that my efforts were not enough to change their experience.

Great location- condo was roomy and as described. Jon was a class act and very quick to reply to a couple questions we had, even during the holiday rush. My family of four enjoyed our recent stay at this property! It’s newly remodeled, nicely decorated, and very well kept. The location is close to Old Town Scottsdale, with great restaurant and many entertainment options. The door is straight out from the elevator, with the coin operated laundry to directly to the left of the elevator. The covered parking spot is very close to the elevator and very convenient. We enjoyed siting on the balcony with our coffee watching the sun come up around the palm trees. The pool and hot tub are very nice and well maintained. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was due to the limited kitchen supplies and towels. (Due to the newness of the property); however, I provided a listing of items that would be nice to have available to Jon, the owner. He was very welcoming of my suggestions and assured me they would purchase the items for future guests. There is a Sprouts grocery store across the street as well as a Circle K. There is a Walmart close by for other items. The view of Camelback Mountain was beautiful! Although we didn’t hike Camelback this time, we hiked Pinnacle Peak (beautiful!!), Hidden Valley, and some trails in the Senora Dessert. If you are adventurous, I highly recommend 4-wheeling in the mountains! Great views! We took in a spring training baseball game and Phoenix Suns basketball game, all good fun! There are ‘rental bikes’ available everywhere, costing only $1 per hour, and lots of nice areas to ride. I highly recommend the property!

Great location, comfortable place. Pool area very nice. Scottsdale is a beautiful city. The condo could have provided more kitchen supplies. Very limited. We purchased a toaster and can opener during our stay. Other than that no complaints! Would recommend it to friends.
