This cabin looked exactly like the pictures! It was so beautiful and had so many amenities. For a party of 6 adults, it was very comfortable. We loved spending time on the deck bird watching and looking for other wildlife. We saw bears, turkeys, chipmunks, elk and deer! The hot tub and sauna were perfect after a long day of hiking or biking. The owner was easy to contact and responsive. All the information/booklets provided in the cabin were super helpful. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, soap, etc. Being able to park in the garage was a bonus. Would love to come back and stay during the winter. Definitely adding this property to our favorites )

Heaven on Earth

The home was everything and more! We didn't want to leave. Stocked with all the essentials, we felt right at home! The house is about 10-12 minutes from "town" and the ski resort. Which made it super convenient for those of us not skiing. It snowed making it even more magical! If we are ever back in the area, we would want to stay here again!

The home itself is absolutely beautiful. The views are breathtaking, the layout is wonderful for larger groups.Unfortunately, our stay included several issues that affected the overall experience. On our first evening, there was a 6 hour power outage, followed by an extended period without hot water after power was restored. While I understand the outage itself was outside the owner’s control, the lack of hot water impacted our stay.We also experienced a leaking hot tub with a low water level, a dishwasher handle that broke during our stay, dryer issues that required assistance from the property manager, and 3 maintenance visits while we were on vacation. After our stay, I learned that some of these issues, including the hot tub leak and the dryer’s operational difficulties, were already known, but never communicated. The checkout process was also more extensive than expected, requiring us to strip all beds, start loads of towels and dishes, and take our trash to a local dump despite paying a 375 cleaning fee.I do want to recognize that while the owner was defensive, he did respond thoughtfully to my feedback after our stay and waived the handling fee to return clothing we accidentally left behind, which I appreciated.Overall, my feedback is directed more toward owner communication and property management. For a premium rental at this price point, I believe proactive communication about known issues would ensure a smoother experience for guests.

Great house!

It’s a beautiful home that was perfect for our group. Three king sized bedrooms, all very private from each other. Plus the loft. The hot tub and sauna were extremely nice. The whole house was very spacious. The deck and view were stunning. It’s a few miles from the slopes but was an easy drive. One thing to take into consideration if you have children that might stay in the loft…the stairs/ladder up to the loft are very steep. We did not have an issue ourselves with adults but could see it could be hazardous for little kids. Barb is great to work with!

Unexpected Surprise

Wow, we had an amazing time at this place! It was a real surprise to find a well-built, spacious property, with everything we needed to unwind and escape the daily grind. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking tools you could ever want, and the bedrooms were super comfortable and spacious for a cozy night’s sleep. The wrap-around porch was gorgeous, with incredible views, two fireplaces, a hot tub, and a grill. There was a fireplace right next to the hot tub, which made for some really fun late-night under a beautiful night sky and early-morning sessions. Oh, and there was a hot sauna and shower right next to the hot tub too, which was the perfect addition to the spa experience in the mountains!I did have a small issue with the TV remote controls, but the hosts were super helpful and fixed it right away. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place. It was definitely worth the time and money!

Ski Getaway

The house and property was as advertised - property, ammenities and scenic views were 5 star. It was the perfect distance to ski slopes and town while providing that mountain getaway while at the property. Upon arrival, the interior cleanliness was not great. There were signs and evidence of lackluster cleaning - hand prints on glass, dirty footprints on floors, dirty interior rugs and dirt/hair/trash in corners of floors and baseboards. The outdoor grill was unkept - we spent 30 minutes cleaning the grill before we were able to use it to prepare dinner on our fist night. The garage was not usable - dirt, gravel, debris from last tenants. For this type of property and price I would expect that it would at least be broomed out prior to arrival. It would have been a good space to park vehicles and stage loading and unloading activites but we were ubable to use it and did not want to track the debris inside the house while there. A property can be perfect but if it is not clean and ready for use it detracts from what would have been an otherwise perfect stay.

This home has such an amazing view from the incredible deck! We sat out there and watched the wildlife most of the time we were there! Parking was easy and we really appreciated having a garage to use. The host was very gracious. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was well-equipped with everything our family needed, and the location was perfect for easy access to Angel Fire Bike Park and the surrounding area. The kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, the beds were comfortable after long days of riding, and the home was quiet and relaxing. Communication with the host was excellent, with prompt responses and clear instructions. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Angel Fire and would gladly stay here again.

This property was beautiful with gorgeous views. Had plenty of room for a family of 6. The wild life in the area didn’t disappoint with all the deer, elk, turkeys. Part of the family got to see a brown and black bear in the area of the property which was exciting. We did have a little confusion with the hot tub but it was taken care of immediately. Would highly recommend and would love to visit this property again.
