Thanks for staying with us, Joe! Bear Hollow is a fantastic location, so close to everything and just down the road from The Canyons Resort. We hope you used the hot tub and the pool at the clubhouse during your trip. We'd be happy to host you any time!
Probably the most comfortable beds of any short term rental I’ve ever stayed at. Kitchen could be better equipped and the gas grill was out of propane but the property manager was very responsive and helpful.

Good spot for skiing but not great for remote work
The property was fine as a place to crash and ski, except that the fold out bed in the basement is horrible for sleeping. The property is as presented in the photos. Wifi is great. Location is terrific for all amenities and for walking the dog. We had trouble getting in because the code I was given did not work for the garage but after some calls and texting this was resolved.

We're so glad you stayed with us, Henrietta. It's such a great home in an amazing location. Because of your feedback, the owner replaced the sleeper sofa. We appreciated you letting us know it was uncomfortable. This allowed us to take care of it for future guests. We hope you enjoyed the hot tub and clubhouse during your trip. We'd be happy to have you back any time!
The ceiling fans were dirty, the pillows were flat and yellowed, the toilet seat in the master was stained. The kitchen had no dish towels or pot holders. The hot tub smelled awful. Very disappointed with this rental. I texted the number listed to call and the lady responded that she had not managed the property in 7 years. Bad experience

We are very sorry to see this low star review for a home that has been highly enjoyed over the years. We send multiple communications via email and guests are invited to a guest portal. We are super easy to get a hold of and always happy to help. The home is professionally cleaned and the hot tub is professionally serviced. We certainly wish you all the best in your future travels and accommodations.
We enjoyed our stay at Bear Hollow Village for our winter family reunion. All the pertinent details were emailed ahead of check in day. The unit was easy to access with both the door and garage codes. The garage was a great place to store our ski gear and the boot dryer was very handy. Our adult family of seven fit nicely in all the bedrooms and there were plenty of bathrooms. The main floor kitchen was large enough and became the defacto gathering place for meals and card games. The hot tub was clean and in good working order and made for a relaxing soak after our day on the slopes. A toilet handle broke and management was easy to contact and the repair man came promptly to repair it. Only complaints - the garage door remote didn't function well, too many remotes to manage all the TVs and the Apple TV wasn't useable because we didn't have the Apple ID and password for the owner's account.

Thank you for staying at our Bear Hollow 5437 home! We're happy to hear you loved the home's spaciousness, amenities, comfort and locations. We regret you struggled with remotes and would have been happy to help (as with the toilet) if reported. The home, with a private hot tub, BBQ, high-speed Wi-Fi and more, is certainly a great choice for a Park City getaway.
Overall we enjoyed our stay amidst a small problems.
We did enjoy our stay here. The kitchen was clean as well as the rest of the house. There were a few things that we had problems with. We had a hard time adjusting the thermostats. We were only given one dishwasher soap pod and a small amount of dish washing soap. We also had to look around house to find more liquid hand soap. When we called to state the lack of soap, we were told to go buy more and they would pay us back. Yes, that was nice of them, but when I go on vacation my purpose is not to have to go shopping in order to wash the dishes. When we first got to the house, there was part of a broken bottle on the garage floor. Nothing a broom couldn't fix, but not what I really wanted to deal with. Bottom line, it was a nice house and we enjoyed our stay, Just needs a few minor improvements.

Thank you for staying with us! Our housekeeping staff is instructed to leave an initial supply of sundry items. We were happy to offer more, when asked, we just did not have staff to bring them by until the next day which is why the offer to reimburse for supplies was presented. We're happy to hear the kitchen, along with the rest of the home was clean. The homes is also well stocked, comfortable, spacious and has awesome amenities! The private hot tub is a great way to soak away fun vacation days. Thanks again for staying.
Bear Hollow is just a short drive to the base of the canyons which was great for us. Pictures represent the place accurately as do the descriptions. The kitchen was well stocked and the management staff were always quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for staying at our Bear Hollow 5437 home! We're happy to hear you loved the space and enjoyed your Park City getaway. We'd be happy to welcome you back any time.
I have three suggestions: Invest in additional bowls and spoons. Only four of each which is frustrating when you have six people. Replace coffee maker with one that has an auto shutoff. And lastly, the furniture in the family room is not very comfortable and does not accommodate six adults very well.

Dirty, Broken & Neglected - Very Disappointing - Avoid
We've stayed in many rental properties over the years, and it gives me no pleasure whatsoever to write this negative review. But honestly, the owners of this property need to understand that the condition of the home is unacceptable. If it were just one or two issues, I'd say "fine, it's a rental property." But the list of concerns is long, well documented, and disconcerting:
- Empty propane tank on gas grill
- Gas fireplace in main living room does not work
- Broken glass in cabinet and sitting in drinking glasses -- a true hazard for children
- Burned out, mismatched and missing lightbulbs throughout
- Dead batteries in all (ALL) remote controls
- Maggots in kitchen cabinets (not kidding)
- Dirty, worn carpet
- Accumulated junk everywhere...old electronics, half-used paint cans, random useless pieces of furniture, packages delivered to prior renters, I could go on...
- Duct tape on vent/ceiling
- Electrical outlets that do not provide power
- Broken lampshades
- Worn and broken furniture (I have pictures)
- Dishwasher drawer does not close properly
- Garage door opener unreliable
- Peeling paint/stain on exterior
- Etc., etc., etc.
Unfortunately we rented this place for THREE WEEKS! So after a week or so I went to the property manager's office and explained the situation -- I even sent them my list of concerns in writing. They promised to rectify, but only came to the house to organize cabinets and drop off new cookware. They addressed virtually NONE of my concerns.
Honestly, if you're looking for a place to stay while you ski, play quarters and eat pizza with your college frat brothers...this place is probably fine. But if you want to bring your children, family, cook meals, live like a civilized adult, you'd be wise to look elsewhere. And I repeat...it gives me no pleasure whatsoever to write this review. None.
Respectfully submitted,
Andy

We're sorry to see such an awful review of a truly lovely home. The assertions here are completely over exaggerated or false. The review of the guest that stayed just days before was 5-stars noting, "Would stay at this unit again!" We did all we could to accommodate requests by sending the cleaning company in for a 2-hour deep clean of the kitchen, bringing new kitchen items, including a brand new pots and pans set. We sent a tech to check the garage opener which was working fine. Disappointingly, we came to the realization that there was nothing we were doing (or could have done) that would have resulted in this guest's satisfaction or the home or services. We take guest satisfaction and home care very seriously and work hard to ensure a wonderful vacation experience. We look forward to hosting many more wonderful vacations at this gorgeous home!
This property really delivered as advertised. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed preparing our meals using the kitchen and grill. Great access to all the regional skiing.
The condo itself is very beautiful. Great floor plan. Does need some deep cleaning. I was a little disappointed at how dirty certain areas of it were. There are several areas that need a little handiwork. Master bathroom had burned out lightbulbs and we couldn’t find replacements. The lack of toilet paper and Kleenex was a huge disappointment, especially since we had such a large group of family. The Kleenex boxes in the bathrooms might have each had 3-4 kleenexes in them. We ran out of toilet paper on our last day there and had to share one roll. My husband had to defrost the ice maker in the fridge to get it to dispense ice. There was laundry left in the dryer I had to fold and didn’t know what to do with it. Broken chairs on front porch. There were quite a few things that just needed a little TLC. The hot tub was nice, the beds were fairly comfortable. I would suggest lowering the cleaning fee a little, because we had to do some cleaning ourselves.

Thank you for staying with us Tami. We wish we would have heard from you during the stay as we would have been happy to remedy any item of concern.
The old chairs were there and set to the side for removal and new chairs had been delivered. We advertise clearly that there is a initial set up of toilet paper, tissue, paper towels, etc. It is meant to be sufficient as a starter. If there were any cleaning issues, we would have had the company return right away to address with you. This home is well maintained... the carpets had just been cleaned and the home professionally cleaned. The hot tub is serviced regularly and the home as hosted many happy guests. We certainly wish you all the best in your future travels.
The whole check in and check out process was really smooth. The property was beautiful. We were able to take a walk over to the grocery store for dessert one night and the view was breathtaking.

Great Family Meeting Place
Our family reunion was over Labor Day Sept. 2017. We loved this place. the Open space between the Living Area and Kitchen had room for all, and we can all be together as much as we wanted. The master bedroom's large walk in closet served as a place to put up a crib so our Grand-baby had her own little private spot to sleep. We loved having access to the Pool and went there every day.

Summer Family Gathering
The property was very clean and stocked as expected. We were 4 adults, 1 teen and 4 children and all had comfortable lodging. The teen had the room on the lower level and that worked out well. The pool and hot tub were used everyday. Bikes in the garage were used as well because not all of us had bikes. Very enjoyable experience and nice home.
