The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The location was convenient and the host was responsive and professional throughout our stay. We would gladly book again and recommend this rental to others.
The location was perfect! Wherever we went it was a 20 minute drive! . Walked to coffee and multiple restaurants within 1-2 blocks everyday. A few maintenance issues but otherwise perfect!
Myself and three friends went to San Diego for a long weekend away from kids and work. The house was in the perfect location to access everything the city has to offer. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were great and the house was just a great spot to hang out. We would definitely come back.
There are some good, mid and bad things about this place. The biggest thing to be aware of is the property management company that runs this spot…are not great or responsive. A few things to note:THE GOOD -The place is wonderful, with great rooms and comfortable beds. Lots of hang out room. -The location is great. -It’s pretty!THE MID -There is a reason why there is no shower photos of the main bathroom—It clearly hasn’t been updated. The shower is old and the paint is coming off all the walls.-Before checking in, the property said we are not allowed after 9p due to noise ordinances, which isn’t true. The ordinance kicks in at 10p. THE BAD -It’s managed by a property company that clearly was not located near. They were incredibly difficult to get ahold of (the emergency number didn’t work).-The lock to the door ran out of batteries which they clearly didn’t charge before our stay. Thank goodness we are handy people and figured it out. They “close on Wednesdays” so no one could help us. They still have not reimbursed us for the batteries or the time lost due to fixing their issue, though I specifically waited to write a review until I could get a satisfactory resolution.-They don’t provide a lot of toilet paper. I had to ask repeatedly for them to bring more. There are no tissues in the place.
The house worked well for my family extended stay. The beds are comfortable and the furnishings are good quality although I had to move a lot of decor out of harms way from my children. I was worried about a wobbly bookshelf worried me the entire stay. The neighborhood is great aside from the very busy street that the house is on. There’s an organic grocery store, multiple coffee shops and several good restaurants within a short walking distance. I have to mention that the kitchen has a bad cockroach problem. The vacation rental company said they have never had this problem before but I doubt that’s true because we found several dead cockroaches in the fridge and freezer. We bought cockroach traps which we were reimbursed for but the problem persisted throughout our stay despite our cleanliness. We also had a lot of issues with the garage disposal. It’s not wired correctly and would trip with the dishwasher constantly. They sent someone out to fix it one, but we didn’t want to keep asking. Overall the house is great but has a few issues to fix
