This property is stunning. It was perfect for our family of 19! We had plenty of room to spread out and gather as a family for meals. It’s very close to town too. Everyone in my family was raving about the beauty, said it was the best place we’ve stayed together so far. We would love to come back and stay again!

The space is huge and the buildings are beautiful. The views of the sunset were absolutely incredible and the beds are very comfortable. We arrived at the property and immediately discovered two dead mice in traps in the living room (one of which appeared and smelled to have had time to start decomposing). Water to sections of the property was turned off upon our arrival. In public facing descriptions of the property they mentioned both the hot tub and the pool, and stated that the pool could be heated for a fee, but we were not told until we had already booked that you can only heat the pool OR the hot tub, which we found to be misleading. We requested that the hot tub be heated for our trip and it was intermittently hot and cool--it got cold while we were in it and then we had to wait for a few hours for them to heat it back up remotely. It seems like the plumbing must not be very good because there are signs up giving extensive instructions on how to wipe and flush and threatening that if you clog the toilet you are responsible for paying for a plumber. We have people in our party who are very allergic to dogs, so we intentionally selected a pet-free place, and we were disappointed to see dog/pet beds and feeding dishes around the property including in the main bedroom. Overall the space is vast and visually stunning, but we did not feel like certain elements lived up to the description posted of this being a luxury stay
The listing photos simply don’t do the Hacienda justice, which was a rare delight. Our group spent days enjoying games on the lawn and lounging in the giant pool. We couldn’t have been luckier with sunny & 85 weather! The outdoor BBQ set up was perfect for socializing together and feeding a large group. The next-door neighbors are about 50’ from the pool area and the noise easily travels, so the night owls switched to gathering in the main house after dark. We truly needed a few more days to make use of all the different living spaces — there’s a 2nd outdoor kitchen with large dining tables that we never made it to! I was worried about parking multiple vehicles, but there was plenty of room with space to come and go. The beautifully appointed casitas and spacious main house levels allowed for privacy and very comfortable sleeping arrangements for all. The house is almost like a museum with antique decor, books, furniture and every single room has special character. The group consensus was that it’s our favorite weekend getaway to date!
The Hacienda was as beautiful as we expected. It was perfect for our daughter’s wedding weekend to host out of town family and friends for 3 nights. There was room for everyone to spread out and for a family with a small child to have a separate Casita. We gathered around the pool, played games on the grounds and had meals together in the main house. It really made our wedding weekend very special and unique.
