We loved our quick getaway! The cottage was adorable, cozy and spotless. The hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring and the deer wandering through the yard made it feel extra special. Peaceful, private, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing stay here, with everything we needed plus the hot tub and the creek, which were an added bonus! It was a little warm during the day, but with opening the windows at night it was pretty bearable. It was well worth the money and we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property

The cabin is just as advertised cozy and clean. The setting is stunning with the Bitterroot mountains all at round. Hamilton is just a few miles down this road where you can get anything you need at major grocery stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for two weeks and will be back next year for sure.

Our cabin by the stream was just what we needed to unwind. It was quiet and peaceful and the wildlife was amazing. We saw deer cross the stream every day. The mountains in the background made our stay even better. Our hosts were kind and considerate. We would love to come back! We would definitely recommend staying here.

Such a serene quiet location. To have the creek right outside made for a beautiful natural serenade every evening. After a long day on the water, the Jacuzzi took away all the aches.

Cabin by the creek

This property was better than the pictures even showed! It’s located on a beautifully maintained farm in the mountains with a creek out the front. We saw deer every night, it was unbelievably quiet and peaceful. It’s located in a great spot not far from a golf course, highway 93, the Dutton ranch filming area, and the adorable mountain town of Hamilton. I would highly recommended!

PEACEFUL

It was very quiet and relaxing. Saw deer everyday, and picked a few berries. Ran out of propane, but it was fixed as soon as it was brought to managers attention.

Heaven on Earth!

Wow! Amazing place…our new home away from home! The wild life is everywhere and the creek is mesmerizing…. This farm property is like a little house on the prairie. The cottage is fresh and clean. It is very homey and warm. You can sit on the deck with morning tea and evening wine to watch the deer families pass by. The hot tub views are incredible. Everything was perfect! We will be back even if we buy a local property. Thank you for the hospitality!

Nice rural get-away

It was a cute little cabin that was a nice getaway. Unfortunately 5 hours before checkin and an hour before we left, i received an email that the hot tub was not working. I understand this was out of their control, but out of the 100 properties we searched (with a hot tub) within 5 hour drive we chose this one specifically. Pretty big downer when i received the email. Still a nice and quiet property with a ton of wildlife.

Cabin was a nice location, authentic decor. The weather was unusually warm and it took a long time to cool down the house, I would recommend another fan in the bedroom. Also lighting in the kitchen was dim. I did not get check in information the day prior to arrival and had to contact VRBO directly. Did promptly receive contact with the host then. Overall, the host was receptive and cabin was true to description.

Historical Cedar-shake cozy Cabin

Beautiful grounds situated on a working farm, the owners couldn't be more pleasant. This cabin is perfect for couples. The owner even has living plants inside to polish off the 'feels like home' vibe. The cabin has everything you'll need (shampoo/cond/body-wash but no hairdryer so bring one) to be comfortable, cook (all appliances are antique but work well, cookware, salt/pepper), etc. It has a nice grill, the bed is small (full size) but very comfy as are the linens. It's situated on the property next to a small stream drawling in the wildlife daily with a wrap around porch which you won't want to leave! The hot tub is a definite plus and is super hot. There are laundry facilities in one of the buildings close by on the property. The owners are working on other projects around the area like a huge garden where they invited us to pick berries. The internet (wifi/cell/other) is not great however it's really not great anywhere in Montana in these rural areas. Great overall location to drive to the Bitterroot and other rivers to fish or a nice 45 minute drive to Missoula.

This location was more magical than the pictures!! The creek, the autumn leaves, the cabin was so cute and so very clean and had everything we needed. We stayed in October to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. The whole experience was so welcoming and relaxing. We absolutely loved it and will be back!

Cabin was nice and clean The chemical in the hot tub was so strong, our eyes were burning and we could not use the rest of the stay (2 more nights) Our swim suits still smell like mold. The couch and chair were very uncomfortable. The cabin was stocked very well and the location was beautiful.

This was such a sweet little property! It was far enough from Hamilton that we felt removed from traffic but close enough to grab dinner and drive back. The creek running by the cabin was really relaxing. We enjoyed the deer every morning and the beautiful landscaping around the cabin.
