The main unit features one bedroom with a queen bed - lovely furnishings including a mango dining table, renovated bathroom, living room, desk, hide a bed sofa, lanai, cable TV, Roku, WiFi, AC and well supplied kitchen. Master bedroom has a California King bed and separate bathroom. Inexpensive laundry is on premises and the building has a secure entrance. Lower rate available when renting the larger side without the master bedroom. Enjoy the sun and sounds by the bay side pool and newly renovated workout room! Great location for traveling professionals.

Great Location!

Bayshore Towers is uniquely situated on the Hilo coast with spectacular views and within walking distance of downtown. Glenn and Myra were extremely accommodating hosts. Thanks for everything!

NOISE! NOISE! NOISE! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!

To begin complicated entry,(if not for a nice neighbor) it would have taken forever to figure out!! We enter the property to a menagerie of doors, 1 entry, 1 to master bdrm, other to kitchen/lvrm/2nd bdrm,all with locks, made us very nervous as to why code locks inside condo doors. Ok whatever we are tired, 5000 miles flying to get here. Quick trip to grocery, whole nuther story (homeless/beggars) get back to condo, get ready for bed, turn on tv, cannot hear tv for highway noise, #1 hwy leading north out of city, 300 feet from condo, no way to seal out noise,slatted glass window and original sliding door face hwy. this is 24 hours a day. Note about 80% of containers to big island are shipped out of this port. 2nd day went to grocery early, work on bridge delays getting out of driveway, noted it took about 10 minutes before car a/c started working.( took car to shop for owners, still not working properly) it is hot and sultry. That nite we had trouble sleeping again due to traffic noise. 3rd day restless sleep, awoken to loud noises directly outside condo, 6:45 am trash truck is picking up trash (again near jalousie window(look it up), and old sliding door.Ok probably comes once a week, nope every morning, unbelievable. THEN, at 7:45 am a very loud vibrating noise starts through the building, crew on the backside of building w/hammer drills knocking the concrete.WORKERS told us had been working for 2 mo,a year to finish!! owners knew when renting!!!

We had a wonderful time in Hilo. The condo is within a walking distance to town where you can buy fresh daily produce. The car ran perfectly and got us around the island with no problems.

Great location on the water in Hilo. Excellent value!

The property was great. Pay close attention to key instructions or you will wonder how to get in. Go in the first parking lot go into the second door under the parking garage to for find the lockbox. Other than the initial confusion everything else was perfect.

My is an island girl, who grew up on one of the sugar cane plantations outside of Hilo, and Glenn made his first trip to Hawaii in 1973 as a boy. Hilo is their home away from home. We love the pace of Hilo because it's not packed with resorts and time shares but a real place with all of the magic of the islands.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this unit at Bayshore Towers because of it's walkable location all with a view of the ocean. Beautifully decorated and furnished, It's spacious , secure, and perfect for one or two with room for six. With historic roots in the Hilo community and the desire to avoid the crowds, this condo is the perfect place for us to get away to re-charge our batteries.

What makes this property unique

On-site oceanside pool with bar-b-que, laundry, library, newly re-modeled workout room. The unit has just been refurnished. It has keyed building access, a reserved parking spot, cable tv, Roku, and wifi internet. The kitchenette is stocked and ready for use.
