Second time staying here and it's a great house and great location with a friendly and responsive host. Unfortunately the heating was not working while we were staying, it was very cold and the property manager (not the host) did not provide a solution.

Perfect for Visiting Your Cadet

Lots of room and lots of light! The dedicated parking spaces are a hot commodity in Highland Falls, where on-street parking is often jam-packed. So close to Thayer Gate, the house is in a super convenient location when visiting West Point. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Adequate. Very comfortable king bed. Clean. Great location with parking - which is hard to find.Didn't know there wasn't central air until the day we checked in. Rather, there were 3 portable A/C units that were to cool the air and 3 fans - these were noisy and not effective. No blinds or curtains on the kitchen and dining rooms no privacy and heat gain from the morning sun. Needs a new toilet, existing one is a worn small round one - clean but uncomfortable. No microwave - which made things difficult for us. Would have been nice to have a Keurig machine. The coffee pot worked fine, but we like using the pods since we drink different coffees.

Thanks for your feedback. This home was built in 1907, and - like most in the area - does not have central air conditioning. We do our very best to mitigate that for our guests. Sorry the microwave, coffee maker and toilet seat weren't to your satisfaction either. We'll work on those items.

Overall, great! Three longtime friends rented this home for our 50th high school reunion. Location was perfect! Kristin, the host, was extremely responsive and helpful. Check in and checkout was a breeze. We’re already talking about renting the same place for our next reunion in 5 years.
