Great property and the hosts give great instructions. The house was very clean and well stocked. There was coffee available to use, laundry soap, as well as wood in the fire pit. They thought of everything. The rooms were spacious and our family had a wonderful time. The location is perfect as well. Thanks for a great stay!!

In August 2026, my wife and I stayed for a week in this lovely home away from home. Located 5 minutes to Douglas/Saugatuk, it is in the heart of southwest Michigan. It was very clean, quiet, roomy and comfortable, with all rooms on one floor. It had updated décor and appliances, including dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water/ice, gas stove, full size laundry and wifi. The kitchen had all the items needed but for your food. The water was Hot and two full bathrooms were bright and clean. Comfortable linens were provided. It had two decks, one off the living room/dining area and another off the Large master bedroom. Outdoors included a fire pit with a “pack of wood” surrounded by adirondack chairs, a gas grill, plenty of parking close to the rear entrance and a pleasing view of the wooded surroundings. There were about six steps to enter the home. We would definitely want to stay here when we return to this part of Michigan.
