Hello from Jacksonville. Conveniently located near San Marco and I-95. f you are in town for a football game, attending to medical related needs at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, UF Shands Hospital or in town to visit family or here for business purposes, you’ve found a completely private, fully equipped and fully furnished 'all yours' house. Located near many tasty restaurants and two major grocery stores.

Pets are considered on a case by case basis. One dog less than 20 lbs. is preferred. I strive to afford a squeaky clean house, free of any pet dander. Tell me everything about your pet, breed, temperament, treated for fleas, etc. I will charge more for cleaning and perhaps a pet fee depending on circumstances.

If convenience and location are key then you have found your comfy house.

ACCOMMODATIONS: This is a very cozy three bedroom house, hardwood floors, two full baths, one for the master (shower) and one for everyone else (bath tub). Two of the bedrooms include a luxury queen bed, large closet, chest of drawers, ceiling fan, bedside table with lamp. The third bedroom has a double bed. It also has a large closet. Each bedroom contains a ceiling fan. The fully furnished eat in kitchen has a table and two chairs, all new appliances with a large refrigerator, dishwasher and electric stove. The large living room has a sofa and matching love seat with a large flat screen TV with DVD. A separate dining room has a table that seats 4. The dining room has a large window to the private back yard with a door that opens to a completely fenced large back yard. The yard is recently landscaped with a large patio area. Lawn chairs and a gas grill are available for your use. A small room off the patio contains the washer and dryer.

PREMISES: The covered car port allows for two cars. Shirl Lane is a narrow residential street thus parking for more than 2 vehicles is not available. There is no street parking.

OWNER OPERATED: Owner lives less than two miles away and can be reached at all times by cell phone.

CENTRAL LOCATION: The house is on the corner of Shirl Lane and San Jose Blvd., a major north south artery. Shirl Lane is residential. A very small office park with Monday through Friday business hours is directly across the street.

CAVEATS: This is a strictly non smoking residence. You are welcome to smoke outside but your courtesy is requested to discard cigarette butts in a proper trash receptacle.

Please read the pet caveat. Yard is fenced.

You might say my husband and I are of advanced age, LOL, as we are both in our early 60's but still on the go. We have one daughter who is a full time student at FSU. We both work full time and we get out of town when we can. We have enjoyed being a guest at other VRBO properties and thus know first hand the importance of giving every detail attention. We like hiking, every flavor of water sports and looking for fossils, mostly shark teeth. We have a dog, Panda, border collie. She is also of advanced age. Thank you for visiting.

Why they chose this property

This is a special and very well cared for property. As you can see we have owned it almost 20 years. It's been a residential rental all those years but we are not property managers. Both my husband and I have day jobs. We just fixed up and updated this cozy house and did most of the work ourselves. We are very familiar with every square inch. In other words we are about the property and that translates to, we care about you. It's important to us that you enjoy the property to the fullest and that whatever brings you to Jacksonville that you find 1502 Shirl to be everything it should be.

What makes this property unique

Our house is centrally located to town and easily accessible to all major roadways. Shopping is 5 minutes away with two major grocery stores and good restaurants. The beach is a direct shot via expressway.
