The island provides great opportunities for turtle watching, sailing, snorkeling, diving, surfing, flats and off shore fishing, sea kayaking, bird watching, and hiking. You will find some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
Search for FLAMENCO Beach on the web, it's been rated 3rd within the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. ZONI Beach is a 2 mile beach with white sand, season turtle nesting and blue waters. Culebra also offers smaller off islands that are officially part of Culebra; Culebrita Island and Luis Peña Cay are two undeveloped treasures designated as wildlife reserves.

Great deck and views. Quiet. This place needs a VERY DEEP cleaning. As others have reported, one of the showers doesn't work. The downstairs unit has screens, this one does not so at night rather than enjoying the breeze, all windows must be closed. Inadequate lighting-one ceiling bulb in each room and very small lamps in brdrms, not sufficient to read. No bowls in kitchen.
We had a wonderful Mother Daughter trip to Culebra. The house location was perfect. It was very quiet and comfortable. 1 mile to the little town with restaurants and grocery store. Short drive to all the gorgeous beaches.
Although this rental property is in serious need of some TLC, this review focuses on its moquito problem. The front surface of the living room, facing the deck and water view, is made totally of rows of glass louvres, with no screens whatsoever. About half of the louvres are frozen shut, due to corrosion and lack of maintenance. When the wind drops off, it is necessary to shut the ones that work, to stop mosquitoes from floating in. When the louvres are all shut, the house becomes very stuffy and hot, and the beautiful view is obstructed by the dirty glass surfaces of the louvres, which need to be rinsed and cleaned inside and out. The upstairs bedrooms are screened, but the screens are in bad shape. I woke up my first morning with TEN mosquito bites on my face, unaware that the screen right behind my head was totally ripped open and mosquitos had filled my room overnight. The screens in the kitchen and bathrooms also have holes and gaps. Throughout my stay here, I had to wrap my legs in blankets and keep cans of toxic bug spray close at hand. Although I believe my hosts (I never met or even spoke to them) wanted me to be happy with the property, their replies reproached me for not being more understanding about the challenges of maintaining the property.
This is a very cozy property, great location and amazing views-highly recommend. Don’t pay attention to comments about WiFi-it worked great!

Stunning Views in Quiet Comfort
Loved our stay at Punta Aloe! The house has a wonderful location overlooking Ensenada (Bay). The property has everything you need, and can easily accommodate a large family of seven or more. The beautiful architecture reminded us of good times in our childhood spent in similarly-constructed wood beach houses. We'll most definitely be coming back and bringing more family with us!
Thanks Fede!

It was our pleasure to host for you, thank you again :)
My friends and I loved this place so much. We had good privacy and felt safe. Waking up and having coffee on the balcony was my favorite part. I will point out that one of the two showers was not usable for us as the water pressure was nonexistent. Apparently this is common throughout the island during busier seasons. We had to share one shower between 4 of us, which was fine, but worth the mention.
Great location just far enough from main area to be quiet. Bed was great. Decks have amazing views. Some things it needed: Beach towels, beach chairs, any type of cooler, blender. Those are pretty common
things that really should go with beach /island house….at least everyone we’ve stayed at. Over all great experience. Will be back to Culebra again.

As we explained to the client when he asked during his stay, we used to offer beach towels, cooler and beach chairs but unfortunately clients were not bringing back the items to the property. Those items are available in stores around the island of Culebra. We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful view and amazing property.
This was my 2nd visit to Culebra, and the 2nd time I’ve stayed at one of Fede’s properties. I cannot imagine a kinder, more considerate host than Fede and his associates. I cannot possibly say enough good things about this man. His properties are meticulous. Five stars, all the way!
Wonderful, PEACEFUL place, with the most amazing view ever. The ocean breeze was heavenly. The master bedroom was fantastic: king bed, cross-breeze, and the chirping of crickets just outside the window. It was almost a “glamping” experience—we felt so close to nature.
Location is perfect. Wonderful restaurants and a nice grocery store just down the hill. Punta Soldado in the other direction, for undisturbed snorkeling.
Fede was Johnny-on-the-spot with any questions or concerns.
I can’t recommend highly enough.
Punta Aloe 20 is a nice split-level, beach-style villa with floor to ceiling windows and great views of the water from the spacious deck and main room. The two bedrooms on the top-level have mini-AC splits that cool them well. The rest of the villa is dependent on the “natural air conditioning” of cross ventilation. As previous guests have mentioned, the small biting mosquitoes can be a problem due to the lack of window screens on the main floor. We also had problems with water pressure throughout our stay. Our hosts suggested that this may be due to roadwork, though we saw no evidence of this. Still, all-in-all this was a good stay at a bargain price for a five-night stay.
Very relaxing, quiet and restful. Fun base to explore the island from. Will need a vehicle to get around. Views are fantastic. Given the climate, pack in zippered bags and keep your suitcase closed to prevent unwanted stowaways home. Recommend bringing another hammock if you want 2 hammocks to enjoy the deck from. Unfortunately there are no beach towels, beach chairs, hand towels or wash clothes provided. There is a reverse osmosis system that we greatly appreciated. Keep in mind when you book there is a significant fee per person added to the price of booking beyond 2 people. Again, the view was amazing and as pictured. Only one hammock though.
We are traveling and staying in different areas of Puerto Rico, this was our third one and we have a lot of expectations. Really, the cabin is not for families in my opinion. I should put more attention when someone charge for person means that the allow a lot of people I guess. The cabin need so much improvement starting with windows and doors, AC system, kitchen ( no way to cook there ) we are in 2025 , old properties need renovations ! The cabin view is nice , but also they have camera in the outside area which was not my favorite part plus a lot more . Anyway, so many things with the house that we decided not to spend time there and we out for all just to use to sleep , beds not comfortable either but whatever. The good thing is that the taxi could pick up us from the dock 2’ away of the property.

10 years in the business and this was a very difficult guest even prior to her arrival…. Didn't informed about additional guests and then Didn’t want to pay for them.. lied about situations at the property to ask for a full refund just because didn’t want to pay for those guests.. we called her .. guided her and was always there to help but she decided just to tried damaging us with a bad review when were not able to receive the refund that didn’t correspond. Sad that we have to deal with malicious persons like them. It’s difficult and frustrating but we know how committed we are with our guests… extremely disappointed.
My family and I had a terrible experience there was no air in the kitchen, living room, the keys to come in is rusty and the door wouldn’t lock so the door had to be left open and the wind would open it. Super unsafe we had to sleep with the door unlocked. The AC in the rooms you either froze from how cold or you would have a heat stroke no in between. They were animals everywhere. The owner also charges you whatever he wants after you leave the property without permission. Horrible place do not stay here. Waste of money horrible experience

This client was trying to cancel BEFORE EVEN CHECK IN DAY. He was upset that check in was at 4:00pm and wanted to get in the villa at 7am since he was arriving at 6am. He was making threatening phone calls before arrival telling us he was going to cancel if he wasn’t able to check in earlier. We worked hard to have the unit ready before 4pm and we were able to give an early check in (VERY EARLY- 9am) and didn’t even say thank you. They were being disrespectful and saying that AC’s were not working ; this type of clients are harming us (HOSTS). We provide an amazing place and we INFORM PRIOR TO ARRIVAL what is INCLUDED. We are very clear in the VRBO platform that AC’s are in the rooms. This is a beautiful OCEANFRONT PROPERTY, we ALWAYS inform clients but the problem is THEY DONT WANT TO READ. We give restaurants, supermarket, beach, stores , transportation information AS SOON AS THEY BOOK. He was even upset they won’t have STARBUCKS in the island. Terrible and hateful clients.
HE SAID AC’s WERE NOT WORKING AFTER HE LEFT not giving us the opportunity to go and check what was the situation while they were at the unit, clearly lying to ask for a FULL refund. Our housekeeper checked as soon as they left and they were working FINE, not a problem. They just wanted to leave earlier and trying to get a REFUND. We have PICTURES evidencing A LOT OF GARBAGE, ALL AC’s “ON” PERFECTLY WORKING, ALL LIGHTS AROUND THE PROPERTY “ON”. People like this DOESN’T deserve the privilege of being able to rent through this platform and it’s unfair for Hosts that gives it all. We felt extremely uncomfortable

Great view, house was so-so
As noted in the stars, the location was nice! Serene, not too much traffic, the deck has just a gorgeous and relaxing view! Perfect for watching sunrise! The house itself is basic. One step up from camping, kitchen cooking implements are cheap and basic but at least there were some there! Water pressure is frustrating for showers (might be an island thing, tho). Bed sheets were nice and clean, but scratchy on sunburned & bug bitten skin. The lack of screens on most of the windows was frustrating because I LOVE outdoor breeze and hearing all the frogs and singing insects. But due to mosquitoes and other biting insects, we had to turn on the A/C at nigh. That said, the a/c in the bedrooms worked really well! We had a small hiccup with the VRBO app not sending the hosts’ directions for check-in. Check-in is at 4:00p, but we didn’t receive the info via VRBO until after 5:00p. But maybe that is also an island thing??
The view and location of property make it very appealing. Good for families. We will love to repeat the experience and bring more family members with us.
view from the balcony is beautiful. property is well kept. property doesn't have a washer / dryer. that was a problem. kitchen utensils are not the best. but all that is manageable
We had a great time here staying for 5 nights. Culebra is magical but it is remote and you can sense that throughout your time on the island. The property is great and has everything you need to have a good time. The constant ocean breeze and views will make up for anything ! Will definitely return
It's a fine apartment with room enough for our family of four (2 adults and two older teens). It could easily have slept another 3 or 4. It's not a luxury condo but a wooden house with open beams and stairway, and a deck where we spent most of our time. It's not slick and sleek and new, but perfectly functional and clean, airy and bright and cool (ac in bedrooms for sleeping). Convenient to everything (especially with a rented golf cart), The kitchen was good enough (though more than one pan for the oven would be useful). Peaceful, relaxing, perfect vacation getaway. Go for a walk after dark one evening--the stars are not to be missed!

Come here to unplug....
Gorgeous private deck with an entrancing view; the hammocks are lovely! Be forewarned about the terrible Wi-Fi, though, on the few days it was working, it had such low signal it would just disconnect, making remote work nearly impossible and using lots of data. So bring a good book, enjoy grilling and lounging on this breezy balcony!
From booking to arrival, Fede made sure everything went well. The views from the deck are absolutely marvelous. Watch the ferries and boats of all kinds come in and out of the Honda. Cooking was easy in the kitchen and you can enjoy the views while cooking!
