Very nice apartment/condo, very clean, with everything anyone could need. Super convenient. Fantastic views from every room and the property amenities next to none. Communication and check in/out were clear and easy. I love San Diego and have found my new goto!

Filthy Apartment and Hostile Host

This is the condition of the apartment provided by Fatima: The front of the refrigerator which was covered in large swipe marks . The tray in the water dispenser on the door was covered in some scum which had run down the front of the door. All the countertops, dining room table and living room tables were covered in grime so that you could leave a visible mark when you ran your finger through it. Every cabinet pull was filthy and sticky. The hood above the stovetop was very greasy.There was food on the bottom of the oven.There were dishes in the dishwasher from a previous guest. All of the mirrors were also grimy so you could leave a visible mark running your finger through it. There were visible footprints in the wooden floor. The transition piece from the living room floor to the tile kitchen floor was gone creating a trip hazard. The next morning when we used the shower we found what looked like mold along the bottom of the shower walls. There was a very large glob of black hair stuck on back shower wall. We hadn’t seen it the night before because the lights above both the shower and bathtub were burned out. When we straightened out the bed we found spots of dried blood on one pillow case and a spot on a sheet. Before we left the next day to go home we sent a text that we were very unhappy that she had rented us the apartment in this filthy condition. The owner responded in a very rude manner wishing us bad Karma. NIGHTMARE!

We’ve hosted hundreds of respectful guests over the years, but this individual was by far the most disruptive we’ve ever encountered. From the moment of check-in, we were subjected to aggressive messages, profanity-filled voicemails, and threats—including false claims of being a retired lawyer and having family in law enforcement. The claims in this review are either grossly exaggerated or completely fabricated. Our property is professionally cleaned and inspected before every stay. The guest’s chargeback attempt was investigated and denied in our favor—further validating that these allegations are baseless. We remained professional despite constant harassment and chose not to remove the guest out of courtesy, though we would have been well within our rights. The behavior we experienced was erratic and hostile, and we sincerely hope this person receives the help they clearly need. To future guests: please see our many genuine 5-star reviews for a more accurate picture of the experience we provide.
