In all, it was a wonderful stay. Honua Kai is a great resort and this room was exactly as described. Fully stocked kitchen made meal prep easy to do and the views from the balcony could not be beat!

This was our first visit to Maui. We really enjoyed staying at HK #441. The managers were very gracious and quick to respond to any concerns. Booking was very easy. The condo was great for 2 couples. We especially liked the balcony that completely opens up to the living room. Location was great - close to so many attractions.

Honua Kai on Kannapali beach is our favorite destination in Maui. The entire resort is beautifully landscaped, effectively staffed, clean, and beautiful. The unit does need a bit of updating to earn my 5 start rating in the way of new carpet(stained), and perhaps a better dishwasher, and a dryer that actually dries clothes. To that point, these are "nits".....there is no way to describe the wonderful experience this unit delivers. We will be back.

This is an amazing place!

My family stayed in this amazing apartment for 10 days in August 2012. It is just as advertised, and wonderfully clean and well kept. This is so much better than staying in a hotel! Steven is great and very helpful, giving us suggestions on dining and areas to explore. I cannot reccomend this property highly enough! You won't regret staying here and you will never want to leave!

the condo is very clean and updated. The proximity to the beach and shopping is fantastic. Steve was very helpful in setting up the reservation and when we arrived he went over everything that we needed to know. there we were beach chairs available to be used and some snorkeling gear as well. if you need more you can rent anything you need for the beach and water sports at the resort.

The pictures were beyond what we imagined! The Nano doors were incredible. We highly recommend this property to anyone who doesn't want to eat out every meal, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner and then enjoy it on the lanai. Just perfect!!!

We fully enjoyed our stay in Honua Kai condo 441. Lounged alot on the Lanai, great views. The condo had everything you needed. The grounds are well kept and tropical beautiful. Great location. Beach wasn't really usable, high winds our week left little sand area for lounging. The Lanai chairs need cushions and it would be nice to have at least 1 full lounger chair on the Lanai.

We just spent nine nights in at this beautiful beachfront property. The unit was well equipped with everything you would need or want including a fully equipped kitchen. Also included was a great selection of beach "toys"...boogie boards, snorkel equipment, chairs, coolers. The management company was a pleasure to work with and check in was a breeze. Amazing wrap around Lanai. View of pool, beach and sunsets throughout the living area made the vacation. Being able to prepare food in the full kitchen while enjoying paradise made the trip economical yet luxurious. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths gave our family flexibility. Appliances were louder than expected, but were convenient. Given the opportunity I would book this room again as the value the kitchen offered with the beach proximity was something special for the Ka'anapali area.

Honua Kai...just too good to be for real.

Well, I am really afraid to rate this property BECAUSE SOME DAY I would like to rent it again and if I tell EVERYONE how good this location is, I will Never find an open date. Just put it this way, if you need a two bedroom condo on a great beach location, nice and quiet and spacious, well go for it. The communication and accommodation is just what you will look for if you visit Maui. Thanks for a great vacation.

Perfect in every way!

I strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for an amazing and easy trip to Maui. We have stayed at Honua Kai before and love the resort. This room was beautiful, clean and stocked with all we needed. We have 4 little kids so it can be hard to find a place that has enough space and all that you need for a vacation. This place was perfect! Barry, Thomas and Steve were all easy to work with, responsed quickly and made themselves available for anything we needed while there. I highly recommend! We will return for sure!!
