Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Unfortunately, the listing was advertised as an entire home, and it was not. It was only the top floor, with people actively occupying and working in the lower level. Throughout the night it sounded like someone was working directly beneath us, and very early in the morning the noise picked up again. The first time this happens, it’s genuinely unsettling—you think you’re alone in a private home, and suddenly it feels like someone is inside the house.This isn’t about the people themselves, but about the lack of transparency from the host. None of this was disclosed in the listing, and the constant activity completely removed any sense of privacy. Had this been clearly advertised as a shared or multi-unit property, we would not have booked it—especially for a honeymoon. Future guests should ask very direct questions before booking, as the listing does not accurately represent what you’re renting
