Gorgeous ocean views are just one of the wonderful benefits to enjoy from this top floor Hilton Head Island, SC rental.

Enjoy expansive ocean views and you are just steps away from the beach. Sliding door opens to the balcony with ocean view. Kitchen features breakfast bar with seating for two. Dining table seats six. Living room includes a 55 inch smart TV and sliding door to balcony with a high top polywood table that seats four and two additional chairs.

The primary bedroom features a King size bed, smart TV, a private balcony with two chairs, and an en-suite bathroom. The primary bathroom includes a standalone shower, double sink vanity, and separate tub. The guest bedroom features 1 Queen bed, 1 Twin bed, and access to the main private balcony. The guest bathroom located just down the hallway includes a tub and shower combination.

The Hampton Place complex offers amenities such as a large pool and spa, lap pool, covered pavilion, boardwalk to the beach, grilling area, gazebo, and deck. In addition, a fitness facility and elevated observation sundeck!

Complex pool hours are subject to change at any time.
Heated: October 15-November 30 | March 15 - April 30
Cooled: July 15-August 15

**Please note that the entire complex (North and South Buildings) will be undergoing a large-scale construction project from approximately 10/15/2025-4/30/2026, depending on and unforeseen circumstances that may arise. This will include painting of hallways, corridors, and optional replacement of oceanside windows and doors. There will be machinery and workers on site which can cause periods of brief noise. All amenities will remain open and operational during this time. Feel free to reach out to our team with any additional questions.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 3 night stay was good except for a major issue with the elevator. On returning from dinner on 10/11 at about 7:30 the elevator was not functioning. My wife was not able to climb 6 flights of stairs therefore I called the PD emergency number who dispatched the PD EMT's. The 3 men were able to transport her in their chair up the stairs to our unit. While we were grateful for the quick emergency response this incident greatly embarrassed her. The working condition of this single building elevator causes an unsafe and unacceptable situation for all guests

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked. The furniture was nice, clean and comfortable. The view was fabulous. I do think the master bath needs to be upgraded. My husband & I showered in the guest bathroom because the master shower was very, very small. The refrigerator ice maker didn't work. It may have been turned off, but if so, we couldn't figure out how to turn it on. We didn't call because we bought bags of ice which was fine. Overall the condo was nice & we would rent it again.

The family staying there was unable to cook eggs or bacon for breakfast or other simple things. Also the refrigerator's ice maker did not work so they had to buy ice from the general store as needed. Other than that the Resort as a whole was great.

Needs care and a refresh

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home we stayed in really needs a refresh and some care given to it. There are cracked tiles in the bathroom, a broken microwave in the kitchen that is still operable but may be unsafe, and has a problem with water coming in through the door wall in the master bedroom (which got my belongings wet). We told maintenance about the towel racks falling off the wall, which was repaired. They did not appear to fix the problem with the door wall. This was not worth the price I paid. Great location and furniture was fine, but a bit disappointing.

We are happy to report that everything that you experienced have been addressed and the new owners have gone above and beyond to make sure that the condo is clean and comfortable with everything in good working order. The microwave and dishwasher have been replaced and the door was found to be completely functional with no leaking. The towel racks are brand new and professionally mounted. There have been many other updates and refreshes, too many to list here! We are happy to say that the view is matched by the interior of the condo. Great view- needs updating

This unit was very dated. The kitchen was not well equipped. The view is great but I have stayed at some Holiday Inns that have a much nicer interior.

Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Hilton head for over 12 years and stay in Hampton frequently. This condo was average. Quite frankly, carpets and bathroom floor were quite dirty. Furniture on porch was old and rusty. Kitchen amenities/utensils were minimal. We have stayed in several Hampton condos that are much nicer. That said, we love the Hampton property and Palmetto mgmt took immediate care of a furnace problem. Great service. Will definitely be back, but would not look to return to this unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is in a great location...right on the beach. We like the Palmetto Dunes area because it's in the middle of the Island and we can go in either direction easily. As mentioned, the location is great, but when we got into the unit, we realized we might have a problem. We've rented units in other locations before, and had good success. This particular unit needs so much work I would not recommend it. The blind next to the front door is broken, so the minute you get there you have a bad feeling. The 3 positives are that it's very bright. Some of the living room furniture was decent and the bed in the master bedroom was also decent. Other than that, the rest of the unit is from the 1970's. The bathroom's need to be remodeled. The shower head in the master bedroom needs replacing as does the drain grate. The appliances in the kitchen are very old and although the microwave worked, the door is cracked. The drapes were torn and didn't close properly. There were no alarm clocks in the bedrooms. The outdoor furniture was rusted and one of the legs on one of the chairs was totally rusted off, so if you didn't notice this and you sat on the chair, you could have fallen. There was a disgusting food stain stuck into the carpet right next to the bed in the master bedroom. The lamps were so small and gave off very little light, and there is no overhead lighting, so at night time there is very little light.So on the whole, our experience left something to be desired.

Beautiful view, but beware the HVAC system, the outdoor furniture and the kitchenware!

Beautiful view of the ocean and huge trees in the courtyard! It is as if one is in a treehouse. Amazing. The balconies are large and one is covered. This is what you are paying for. We even saw deer in the courtyard below. But the negatives are too many to overlook and will keep us from returning. The King bed is comfortable but the blinds are missing a few slats. The HVAC system in the smaller bedroom clanks, thuds, and squeals throughout the night and wakes a light sleeper. The kitchenware needs to be tossed. It is just nasty. The eyes on the stove are not level. Hard to cook on. The chaise lounge has feet that are completely rotted off. There is pure rotten wood on four legs. The WIFI password in the Guest Manual is wrong. You have to go to the router itself to find the correct one. The building itself is wonderful: covered parking, elevator close by, well-maintained.
