Guests said this. "Lots of space and windows, lovely apartment. I enjoyed the Rondo park across the street, and there were Friday evening jazz concerts that was such a delight. Lots of mature trees in the neighborhood makes it beautiful in the fall. The orientation of the unit lends itself to soft light at the end of the day. It’s a very short jaunt to vibrant Grand Avenue and Cathedral Hill with countless fun shops and restaurants. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like WiFi, AC, and a hair dryer during your stay. Property was as expected! Great place to stay if going to one of the music festivals at Harriet Island Regional Park. Very short drive to downtown. Will definitely look to return to this property if we decide to go to Minnesota Yacht Club again!

We walked in and the apartment was so wide open, it looked huge. The two bedrooms were so wonderfully laid out that you could actually go in there and have private time, and work at the desk, read. There were shelves and cupboards and closets everywhere. My dream of having places to spread everything out came true! And the neighborhood is great too, great restaurants, close to the bus.

In beautiful Rondo area

Recently stayed here. We were very happy with the area. The homes were gorgeous. We were able to easily bike to Harriet Island for a music festival.Apartment was clean and smelt nice.The hallway of the building did have a smell but once inside the unit it was good.Had access to the garage where we were able to park our bikes and our vehicle.Would stay again here.

This property is in an area where there is a homeless population. When we went to check in there was a tall hooded man in the isolated back of the building. Later he came back with his belongings, bike, and a microwave on a microwave cart that he plugged into an outlet in the back of the building. Being a young mother and elderly women who wouldn’t be getting back to the property until 11pm we did not feel safe. We notified the host who asked us to take a picture of him to verify our concern. Then we were told to call the police. The host did call the police. But after 45 min. With no response we chose to go to another property. The entry way was dirty and there were weeds around the building. The apartment smelled musty but was clean and decorated nicely. VRBO was not very helpful when we expressed our concerns. We were told the police did go to the property but we were unsure if the man would return the next night and we didn’t want the stress of this on our vacation.

We are sorry about your experience! But we understand the reason you gave such low rating was because you didn't get the full refund you requested. We are not aware of the fact you didn't go back, until on the check out date. There is NOT a homeless population in the area. We have managed the building since 2013, and there was never anything like that. The only reason was that the city recently closed down the homeless camps near downtown that some of them travelled away. Police was called right after we learned about it from VRBO, and they arrived within an hour, at about the same time you were leaving. You were not happy with the police but they most likely had higher piority things to handle. We checked with all the guests and tenants in the building and almost nobody else had an encouter with him since most used the front entrance. Apprantly you were not really scared of him so you observed and was able to give the description of how he lived there. You are also not happy with VRBO, but VRBO is just a listing platform and we hosts are the ones actually providing you the place and the service. I hope you would commuincate with your hosts promotly in the future for any issues, instead of treating them like low level employees that you don't care to talk to.
