Easy check in, walking into the house, it had a retro vibe, decorated with fun bright colors and a picturesque front window facing the mountains. The house very clean with new appliances and well stocked. The king size bed was very comfortable making our stay a great one!
Michael was very responsive in all communication leading up to and during the stay. This stay is a lil' home away from home. Was great to stay here for the week. Cozy and sweet. Comfortable bed and beautiful mountain views from the living room couch.
Great communication! Michael was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Well appointed kitchen with sharp knives and great pans. Appreciated quality towels and linens. Attention to detail and a wonderful welcome!
Enjoyed the Anza cottage. It was a perfect home base for our hiking adventures. Clean, beautifully decorated, so many special touches. Felt very pampered here. We are already planing our next visit back to the Anza cottage.

comfortable with pleasant interior decor, modern kitchen, comfortable bed. A fair price for a good place to stay, just half a mile from the Christmas Circle Park in Borrego Springs.
Clean, artful, mid-century modern a short distance from the center of village with great views of surrounding desert mountains. Property owner Michael very responsive and considerate.

Overall we were happy with our stay and would certainly visit again.Pros:Great priceVery cleanOwner is very communicative and responds to requests quicklyMid-century modern decorLocated less than 5 minutes from downtown Borrego Springs and Anza-Borrego State Park Visitor's CenterPowerful ACKing Size BedNo list of things to do on checkout from Owner.Cons:Located on a main road with 55 MPH speed limit so you will hear carsCovered Patio faces NW so there is no shade from the late afternoon sun. If you want to sit outside you'll have to move the chairs around to the front of the houseThe living room has a quiet split AC system, but the bedroom has an old fashioned window AC unit that is noisy while sleeping.Shower stall is very small. PS - The hot and cold are reversed.
The bungalow was very clean and it was very easy to check in. The host was very responsive and helpful. This property was pet friendly. There is a beautiful mountain view.
I love traveling and hiking. Work in interior design and construction.
