*The House*

ForgetMeNot villa, a beautiful two bedroom, two and a half bathroom townhouse, is the perfect home away from home. It is newly built, finished to a high standard with granite counter tops, porcelain floors and fully equipped kitchen. We are located at Little Bay Country Club in Negril, Jamaica, a quiet gated community with 24 hour security.

The property rests on the cliffside with amazing views of the ocean, 24 hour access to the private white sand beach, infinity pool and tennis court. (rackets and balls provided for your use.) View the magnificent sunsets across the ocean from your bedroom balcony. The villa comfortably accommodates 4 guests with Queen bed in the master suite and two extra long twins in the second bedroom, which can be coupled to form a king size bed.
The house is tastefully furnished, all bedding and towels are provided. The living and bedrooms are equipped with flat-screen televisions and free wifi, stay connected if you must. A housekeeper will be provided every other day and meals can be facilitated on request.

*Getting there*

Little bay is just over an hour from Montego Bay international airport, an easy ride on the coast road by taxi or driving. Airport transfers can be arranged if required.

*Things to do*

Relax on the patio with a cup of blue mountain coffee in the morning or watch the sunset beneath your own private gazebo with a cold red stripe.

The private beach is part of an environmentally protected area and you may be lucky to see Turtles when they come to nest or dolphins after their morning nap. The clear warm inviting water, is perfect for swimming and great snorkeling, so bring your gear.

Don't feel like cooking, there are many restaurants, hotels and resorts within driving distance. Take the free shuttle, offered by Ciao, an Italian-Jamaica fusion restaurant for something different. The world famous Ricks Cafe, great for dinner, entertainment and cliff diving, is a 15/20 minute drive in the west end.The newly built Island Lux Beach park is a short 5 minute drive, offering restaurants, water sports etc. Many roadside bars and restaurants are a short drive from the villa, offering local cuisine.

If you want a more local feel take the trip down to the craft market or Time Square duty free mall for some hand made local art.
Within driving distance from the villa, is the famous 7 mile beach with its beautiful white sandy beach, water sports, beach bars, restaurants and night life entertainment, it's not a spot to be missed. Margaritaville or Jungle nightclub is waiting for you.

If you are a golfer, then Negril Hills golf course is a short drive away, bring your clubs or rent at the course.

Perfect little getaway with a spectacular view!

This is a very well appointed townhouse. Anne Mary the housekeeper was outstanding. The atmosphere, the view just invite you to relax and take a load off. Great location. I do recommend either renting a car or having a driver. This place is a little piece of paradise. I highly recommend it!

We stayed at this lovely villa In February and loved every minute of it. We have stayed in the LBCC development several times before, however, wanted a unit of the cliffs for this trip. The landscaping was impeccable and so well taken care of. The unit was nicely designed and very comfortable. The owner was very prompt in taking care of concerns. Ann Marie, the housekeeper, was so nice and did a great job! Would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a serene and relaxing vacation.

Everything was great. Very clean. Once we purchased a sharp knife, everything was great. Audio system needed a cord between the TV and the main box but you could hear the TV through it’s speakers Beach and pool were best we have seen. Better than Hawaii and Belize. Snorkeled along south side of bay; lots of tropical fish, coral and ocassional Ray. Watched perfect sunset from cabana at the edge of the cliff out the back door. Bring your sunscreen

This was the most beautiful exclusive place. I am so glad I found it. The views were spectacular. The private gazebo with the nice breeze blowing through and beautiful views of the ocean were wonderful. The pool and beach a couple of blocks away were so private. Gate security required an ID to enter. There were two security guards on 24/7 who walked through all the front and back yards. It made two women traveling alone feel totally safe. The townhouse was nicely appointed. The air-conditioner was sufficient. The owner and maintenance person were available at a moment's notice. The only thing I did not like was the every other day housekeeping service. I don't personally like or need the intrusion or necessity to get up and dressed earlier than I like. I very highly recommend it!

Best kept secret

When you chose to stay at a VRBO, you are taking somewhat of a risk on location and everything that goes with it. Our experience was 10-fold better than expected. Not only were my interactions with Errol above and beyond, our experience at the house, on the gazebo at the pool/beach, with Ann Marie...all of it was like a dream. We were not in Jamaica to party, we were there to rest. And we did. We hired Ann Marie to cook 2 meals (with leftovers) which gave us the real home cooked Jamaican experience. So yummy! We hired the spa/massage person recommended to come to the house. She was excellent, must do the full 75 minutes. We did not have a car but hired the same driver for the week. He brought us to the market, cash machine, dinner and a few sites. It's expensive but safer and easier than driving ourselves. There were multiple days when we were the only ones at the pool and beach. No crowds, fighting for chairs, accessing shade, etc. The pool and ocean were like bath water. I can not recommend this location enough. If you want private and quiet, this is an easy choice. And if you had a couple kids, this would be an amazing place to expose them to the ocean but without big waves and undertow. Thank you Ann Marie and Errol for this epic week. We are so grateful.

Fantastic oceanfront residence in Negril area

If you are considering a visit to the Negril area, this oceanfront villa in a quiet, secure, gated community should be near the top of your list as potential accommodations. The villa is part of the so-called "Little Bay Country Club" development (though it's not a golf-related location, so don't let that confuse you) on the north end of Seven Mile Beach. We stayed as a family of five and had plenty of space to spread out. We had a rental car, and you can easily reach any of the Negril-area attractions in 5-15 minutes. (Have a breakfast of Ackee and Saltfish at Sweet Spot, or some great native Jamaican fare at Public House or Pimentoz Jerk - all less than 10 minutes from Little Bay, and all adjacent to 7 Mile Beach... we even went down to the cliffs on the west end and had a drink at Rick's Cafe). The pictures really don't do this property justice - a great "infinity-edge" pool overlooks a private beach, and this particular residence has a small shaded/thatched umrella patio area right out on the waterfront, with amazing sunset views. Anne Marie is extremely helpful in providing suggestions or any needed help during your stay, and the owners are extremely responsive in all communications. The owners provide a well-equipped kitchen, beach towels, tennis rackets and tennis balls, snorkeling gear, etc., so even if you travel light you can still make full use of the Little Bay facilities. It was really nice to go experience the festive atmosphere along Seven Mile Beach but then be able to come home to a quiet and restful spot that otherwise feels like an all-inclusive resort without the crowds. Highly recommended!

Tout était parfait. Maison propre et accueillante, assez près de la plage. Le gazebo pour regarder les couchés de soleil était super. Cuisine bien équipée pour préparer nos propres repas avec un BBQ en plus. Housekeeper AnnMarie est très amicale et serviable. Elle nous a préparé de délicieux repas. Le propriétaire est rapide à répondre et il s’assure que nous soyons heureux. Nous y sommes restés un mois et dommage que ce n’était pas plus long. À refaire sans faute.

The unit was absolutely stunning the views were far superior than any other location on Negril as far as I was concerned. I've been to Jamaica 6 times this has got to be one of the coolest places with the private Bay for snorling and the infinity pool. 7 mile beach just down the road with tons of options I wouldn't hesitate to go again the places clean very well decorated and the landscaping in the backyard beautiful. Stunning Views!

My wife and 2 adult children and I spent 9 luxurious days in this well-appointed, quiet and comfortable ocean side retreat. What you see in the photos is what you get... although there is absolutely no way to capture the amazing beauty of the 180 degree water view and sensational daily sunsets in a photograph. One of the most important things for my wife and I when traveling is to have a comfortable mattress, and the mattresses in this condo are excellent. Another important thing for us is a responsive host, and the owner, Errol, couldn't have been more helpful. He always responded to messages within a day, and spent about 20 minutes with us on a phone call prior to our departure to give recommendations and advice. Although we didn't use the community pool or beach, they are lovely. The location of the property is perfect because it is just outside the busy part of Negril, but close enough to get to beaches and restaurants in just minutes. We definitely recommend having a car for convenience and cost-effectiveness, but be prepared to deal with some of the craziest drivers in the world! Also be prepared to drive on the left side of the road. The house has everything you need to prepare your own meals, and you will want to because restaurant prices are not cheap! The condo has a large outside deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee, al fresco, or cook your dinner on the gas grill. There is also reliable internet and AC--although we often kept the AC off, opened all the windows for a tremendous cross breeze, and turned on the ceiling fans. Don't hesitate to book this property; you won't be disappointed!

This townhouse is a true slice of heaven. Located in the little bay country club- a gated community in negril. This is an amazing oceanfront unit with incredible views of the water from most of the rooms in the house. When you open your patio door, you have a beautiful deck with ocean views, and then on your own yard you have this private stone deck literally built over the ocean. I would wake up every morning and have a cup of coffee while looking at the waves and waving to the fisherman who are just below. A 2.5 minute walk down to the private beach for the community - one of the nicest beaches I’ve seen. It’s a protected beach and the snorkling is really something. Bring your snorkling gear and fins 100%. Beautiful Infiniti pool, and the grounds are immaculate. The unit itself was beautifully appointed, the owner really has nice taste. It was exceptionally clean, modern and functional. The owner was responsive to my needs and checked up on me several times throughout. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

New 2-story townhouse, beautiful view of ocean from second story master bedroom window and from outside gazebo. Owner very helpful with answering questions, three-page written instructions. Large and uncrowded chest-deep community pool. Private beach nice, also uncrowded. No restaurants on site so BYO food and drinks or drive or take a cab to a local restaurant. Housekeeping was excellent. Security staff professional, friendly and helpful. Timely return of security deposit. Caveat: Americans need to be aware of exchange rate between US dollars and Canadian dollars used in advertised rates on some websites.

Originally from Jamaica, we went back for several vacations only to rediscover the island, fell in love with the natural beauty, great food and friendly outgoing people we remembered as children. Its a great reminder of past memories and we feel fortunate indeed to own a property of such outstanding views where we can immerse ourselves in sun, sand and sea in addition to sharing it with you.

Why they chose this property

Located on the beautiful cliffs near Negril, this property is perfectly situated for a relaxing getaway from the mundane. While traveling through Jamaica, the panoramic ocean views and natural secluded beach, are what drew us to this property. The sunsets are bar none and the oceanic nature sanctuary is right on your back door with all sorts of marine life nearby. The energy is palpable and its a constant reminder of the beauty that we are privileged to be a part of.

What makes this property unique

The home itself is right on the cliff-side within a gated community, so you do not have to fret, you can feel safe at all times. We fell in love with the incredible sunsets, a different one each day, the sound of the ocean beating against the rocks with ocean breezes and the possibility of witnessing this every day from a cliffside gazebo. Also, no need to get out of bed, the ocean is in full view from the bedroom or its balcony. And, if for some strange reason we tire of this, we can go to the beach for a swim, where we might witness turtles nesting, if the timing is right. The beautiful beach is located in a small cove resulting in warm, calm serene waters. Being located just before the big hotels and businesses of the town is a plus, when we feel like mingling, the activities, restaurants and bars are a short drive to the strip, after which the peace and sanctuary of our home is welcoming. The community itself boasts a tennis court, infinity pool and clubhouse. Not to mention the friendly and sociable neighbours.
