Sitting directly on the Currituck Sound with breathtaking sunsets and located in the Historic Loop of the Currituck Club, this house offers luxury inside and out with plenty to keep the kids occupied. For rental season 2026, kitchen remodeled!



For nature lovers just look out the back windows or stand on the decks to see the nesting ospreys who come back year after year, bald eagles, a family of otters, purple martins, house finches, bluebirds, and nesting purple swallows. The sound views and nature scenes are simply breathtaking. If you want to go to the beach, the house includes a membership to the exclusive Pine Island Beach and pool Club or you can walk or take the trolley to the Currituck Club beach.



This is the ultimate soundfront vacation retreat. 14' x 32' private pool, hot tub, elevator, screened porch, and a grill. Multiple TVs with high-speed WIFI. The rec room area features a pool table and the game room in the garage offers ping pong, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard and Ms. Pacman/Galaga/Pacman Arcade Game. The loft area offers a poker table for family game nights. Community pools, tennis courts, and fitness center also available.



This 6 bedroom Outer Banks vacation home in The Currituck Club is lavishly appointed and filled with amenities, make plans to spend a week or two here.



No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. All trolleys run from Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Beautiful views

The house is beautiful and Very clean. Had everything we could've needed. The only disappointment is there was no screens on windows and so feeling the nice breeze off the water was out of the questions. The house got infested by bugs we had to find a different room to sleep in. We vacuumed them up and kept all the windows closed.

Second year in the house. We loved the improvements. New furniture in the common areas and outside, new dishes and new bedding! Views are amazing. From the deck we saw a family of Osprey, herons and even one morning a family of Otters! And the sunsets can’t be beat! Layout allows for privacy and quiet places if needed. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome house

This property is well appointed with anything you need in the kitchen. Our family cooked almost every night. The double dishwasher and double ovens were key. The sound viewing and sunsets were amazing. The photos are accurate but not as beautiful as the home actually is. The Pine Island Beach Access is very nice. You have ample parking, restrooms, a pool at the beach for those who don’t get in the ocean, and a shower area to take care of the sand on the way to your car. We absolutely loved the space and would love to stay again next year!

Good - not great

The house is beautiful and location is great. We had issues with the house not being clean - crumbs on the couch and floor, screened in porch filthy, master bathroom needed scrubbed down - called the realty company and they did respond the same day. No televisions in bedrooms worked. After three days, the pool was clean and then the filter began working. There was no information on the Pine Island Beach Club - which is shown on the website. The realty company was not able to provide any information on how to access that club. That was a disappointment.

The house was amazing and was clean upon arrival. The view was beautiful. We are considering same house again. We have stayed in Currituck club 10 plus years and this house by far is one of my favourites. We also visited some great local restaurants. Cosmos had great service and great food. The crafty cow was our best find of the week. The best burger on the beach by far. Recommend it highly.

So the house is totally awesome! Nice and clean when we showed up. There was plenty of space to either hang together or get some quiet in.......Best views around. Everything was in good shape. A little buggy but no more than you would expect from a house right on the water! Being able to watch the Osprey family fledge was amazing. A few minor issues came up (we never did get the TV or the outdoor pool lights to work right) but for everything else each time we sent in a request, we had someone at our door within hours. We will definitely be back!

The best part of this rental was the incredible views of the sound with nightly sunset views as well as access to the private beach of the Pine Island Beach Club. Unfortunately, we learned the sound is private property and should not be accessed - we discovered this AFTER we rented three kayaks for the week based on the reviews from previous renters. House was great, not thoroughly cleaned when we checked-in but we cleaned those messes up. Need more baking sheets in the kitchen. The house is currently For Sale and several people came by to look at the property during our stay without notifying us which was quite uncomfortable for them and us; not a good idea so I don't recommend doing that again. We made many happy family memories in this home.

For 2018, the owners have put in a new bulkhead along the sound. It was great speaking with Mrs. Farrell yesterday, again I am so sorry for the issues you mentioned, especially having people come by to look at your property during your stay. There was a mix up on our end and this is definitely not our policy if a property is for sale. If a home is listed for sale we always get prior approval before a showing, and our guest always have the right to decline this request. I am glad you made many happy family memories while here on vacation, we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Sounds Like Fun

Had a wonderful stay in Sounds Like Fun in the Currituck Club. Beautiful home with awesome views of the sound. Enjoyed watching the sunsets each evening. The dual ovens and dishwashers came in handy along with the elevator. Had some issues with the pool, external lights, and the AC on the second floor, but someone always came quickly and resolved the issues. Liked the fact that all beds came with sheets and the keyless entry made it easy getting in and out of the house. We had three families in the house (6 adults and 6 children). Kids had a blast in the pool along with game room down on the first floor. We rented kayaks and it was easy getting them in and out of the sound. Liked the fact that the grocery story and Duck Donuts was right outside our neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a fantastic place to vacation with multiple families! You can enjoy a coffee from the deck in the morning, or happy hour watching a sunset with a beautiful view of the Sound. The pool and the hot tub are fantastic entertainment when you want to stay on site, and the access to Pine Island Beach club is wonderful for an uncrowded beach while also maintaining access to the pool. The house itself has the amenities you need, from cookware, to beachwear, to pool accessories, to technology, to entertainment. Our only complaints would be that the beds were a bit firm and that there were no chairs really in the screened in porch. Most of the time, with the breeze on the Sound, you can enjoy the outside without worrying about bugs, but there are times when it would be good to take advantage of the screened in porch. We would definitely come back again and recommend this place to families looking to have a fantastic vacation making memories!

Thanks for taking the time after your stay to let us know you had a great time. Since your stay, the home has sold and the new owner has replaced all 4 of the king mattresses. He is also getting some new furniture and rugs in other areas of the home including the living room and den.
