Such a unique place full of history everywhere you look! We stayed 2 days and I know there are items we still didn’t get to read. It was perfect for our family & would highly recommend everyone stay here at least once while in Huntsville! Joseph was a great host & was quick to give us a Howdy welcome!

We loved our stay! It was just as described which is not always the case. The decor is eclectic but comes together perfectly. Same can be said for music library! Blueberry bread was provided and enjoyed on the roof. Last but not least, it was the Cowboy Hat House! Go for the one of a kind stay

The Cowboy Hat House was quirky and kitschy in the very best way! The decor was extraordinarily well-thought out and executed, and the amenities were practically everything you would have at home, to include items for children.

Loved It

Rocky Raccoon 100

The cowboy hat house was a perfect selection for me as I was running the Rocky Rqccoon 100 mile endurance run. It was just 15 minutes from Huntsville State Park. Every detail of this property is exceptionally thought out. The beds were incredibly comfortable.

Everything and More

I am not a boring Hilton mom. I love to immerse my family into the culture and local fokelore of our destinations. My children are all adults and we have stayed at some doozeies, but every now and then we find a hidden Gem. The Hat House is definitely just that. The fact that it is shaped like a hat barely touches the magic of this place. If a house that lived in my mind could come to fruition, this would be it. Every little thing, from the cowboy cat rug in the bathroom to the ruler box tucked into in the entry way. There was so much to look at and explore in such a small space, but we never felt like we were croweded. The bedrooms each had their own theme and the game room was an added bonus we didn't expect, but were grateful for on a rainy evening. The upstairs patio was genius and would have been fun to utilize for morning coffe, if not for the rain. We will definitely be back to The Hat House for future stays.

This is a quirky, fun stay. Lots of memorabilia to appreciate. The host has made every effort to supply anything you might need..except beer and wine but there are wine glasses. We love it. However, if a renter has mobility issues, this is probably not a good fit. Stairs, lots of rugs and tight spaces.But for EVERYONE else...try it and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
