We loved our stay. Parking was simple and convenient. We walked back and forth between our son's home and this property at all hours of the night and always felt save. Our host was prompt in responding. The bed was very comfortable. The decor of the apartment was charming. Next time we visit, I hope we be able to book this apartment again.

I noted that there only one tv in the Master bedroom and nowhere else in the apartment that I stayed in. There is also no iron or ironing board. We brought an extra tv with us as we had prior notice about this. As far as the iron and ironing board, I’d anyone renting this space to bring one with you unless the host decides to add one at some point but check before you arrive to make sure that the amenities you desire are in place.

this place was fine, comfortable. We could not get the TV to work but we also never asked for help in getting it to work. All in all we were good, beds very comfortable.

Nice property. Very clean. It's worth staying just to view all the furnishings. Very interesting antiques and tapestries.

The apartment was cute but VERY small. This property is for sleeping and showering only. We were disappointed that there is no place to relax and hangout, there is a small sitting area with a tv attached to one of the bedrooms, but that was the only space to put our luggage.

Weird Layout!

The property was perfect if you are going to be out and about and just need somewhere to rest. I was staying with two others for a festival and I had the main room. There was no door to my bedroom and it’s right by the front door. I bought a shower curtain for privacy. Also the living room is not a public space it’s connected to the main bedroom. The property location is quiet except for the occasional loud car and noisy pedestrians.

Pros for the Regal Retreat- super comfortable beds, nice white fluffy towels, decorated nicely in an antique style (truly regal in every room) which I enjoyed, great water temperature and pressure in the shower, easy parking, and early check-in information provided. Also, the html link with information about Raleigh was nicely done. I was very impressed with the link and I have been passing it along as we were here for NC State's Parent Weekend. Cons- wifi password was incorrect and we did not get the correct password until late into our stay. An explanation for the TV was never given (we powered it on using the TV button but the remote did not work- batteries maybe? and was a firestick needed?) A coffee pot was provided but zero coffee cups. Did not feel comfortable drinking coffee out of a glass cup. Neighborhood is mixed residential so a little noisy but I felt safe. Lastly, I'm not sure if they were guests or permanent residents but there were little people above us and they would awaken @ 6AM and run back and forth across the room, dropping objects on the floor and riding some type of vehicle. This of course is not the renters fault but know that sleeping in will not be an option unless you come prepared or they were guests like us.
