Our stay on Lake Taneycomo was exactly what we needed… peaceful, clean, and right on the water. The rooms were clean, and being able to see and hear the lake again brought me right back to when I lived in Fall Creek in the 1990s. I loved it then, and I still love it now. Even though we have a king bed at home, the one there felt more like a regular size, but the mattress was comfortable and we both slept great. My husband spent his time fishing at Fall Creek Marina. They were generating every day except Thursday, but he still enjoyed himself. One day the rain came down hard, but he was tucked under shelter, so it didn’t spoil a thing.I was working remotely during the trip, yet the whole stay still felt relaxing. There’s just something about that lake that resets you.Only one hiccup: the coffee pot leaked. But they replaced it within a couple of hours, so no complaints there. All in all, a calm, comfortable stay in a place that still feels like home.
