Ideal location for drives to Montpelier, Waterbury, Stowe, Burlington …. Once you familiarize with the direction to the house (via gravel road towards the end), it is easy to get around. Good to bring in food as it is hard to find nearby restaurants or groceries.

Lovely cabin in the woods
We stayed for a week in the summer. Lovely, secluded property with berry bushes and a 2nd-floor deck. Immaculately clean, with a well-appointed kitchen for a rental house.
Given the radiant floor heating and lack of A/C, this seems a bit more set up for winter than summer visitors, but we had a great time.

Hi, Jon. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the lovely, secluded property with its charming berry bushes and the inviting second-floor deck. It’s wonderful to know that the immaculate cleanliness and well-appointed kitchen added to the comfort of your week-long summer stay.
At the same time, we sincerely apologize for any discomfort caused by the radiant floor heating and the lack of air conditioning, which made the property feel more suited for winter than summer visitors. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Please rest assured that we have forwarded your feedback to our local team for review. Your insights are invaluable in helping us improve our guests’ experiences.
We hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even more enjoyable stay.
I could not get in to the property on the first night when I arrived. Spent two hours in the dark trying to get in with working with Guest Services. The local managment team never responded. Had to drive back to town and get a hotel room. Was a broken french door, which I took pictures and sent to local management team, but they did not respond. There was food under the coffee table from previous guests. This is a shame, as the location was beautiful; however the local managment team was horrible and unresponsive. I am still waiting to get reimbursed for the first night and the hotel. I would not recommend Vacasa. They were not at all responsive to the problems.
