This condo has been very well kept and carries lovely updates throughout! From new flooring to fresh paint to a fully updated kitchen, you will find it all here! Add on the private balcony that expands off of the living and dining room area for amazing sunset views is the icing on the cake! This condo building is close to the famous John's Pass Boardwalk on Madeira Beach and is just a short drive or a couple Trolley Stops away. Free wifi is included. Coin operated laundry conveniently located on floors 2, 4 and 6. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property with the exception of 2 designated outside smoking areas.

The Emerald Isle is a direct beachfront building on North Redington Beach. This building has 2 or 3 bedroom option condos, all which will have direct views of the Gulf of Mexico from their own private balcony.The area is great too! Redington Shores is ideally located and close to everything. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 2.5 miles to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Redington Beach is a quaint beach town that is just a short drive outside of St Petersburg, a city loaded with museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping. Experience the surrounding towns by hopping on the Jolley Trolley and enjoying the many sights and activities known to the area. Beautiful stretches of beach, great spots for fishing, swimming, snorkeling, jet skiing, surfing and more. You will surely have a blast building sand castles at Redington Beach. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only a 45 minute drive away, or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions in a 2 hour drive. Condo under Renovation

I’m sure I missed it in the listing but I didn’t see that the property’s pool was not open due to renovations. That was a big bummer with 3 kids. Condo itself was nice. I just didn’t realize the extent of the renovations that was going on.

Loved our time at Emerald Isle

We've stayed in various condos along Redington beach and chose Emerald Isle this year as it was a smaller complex of only 24 condos. Property Manager was very efficient in responding to queries both before our arrival, on arrival and getting us in slightly earlier than our booked time and during our stay when we had a query. We liked the layout of our condo (603) and it was quiet around the pool during our stay. We're already talking about plans for next year...

Great location!

Perfectly located on the beach and near restaurants. Easy to get on and off the beach. Only cons are the furniture has stains (probably from people sitting on with sun lotion on) and dining room chairs are coming apart. I can overlook because of the view and location.

OK if you are not allergic to DUST

According to pictures on the listing the unit appeared to be NEWER than what we experienced. Upon arrival we found a coffee stain on the counter and oil marks around kitchen cabinet hardware. We understand the unit needs to be remodeled especially the bathrooms, but there is no reason for it to be unkept. We found major dust under beds, ceiling fans and the exhaust fans in bathrooms were filthy. There were no GFI's near vanities. The door to get into unit would not latch and did not have extra security deadbolt. Box spring in second bedroom appeared to be moldy. Beds were not comfortable. At the end of our stay, we removed bedding for washing and noticed the pillows were stained along with the lamps that had water marks on them. Last but not least, due to all the dust not only did my friend suffer from dust allergens but she also had sleep deprivation from the security light outside shining into the bedroom. Blackout shades would have been nice. Other than all the above, we did enjoy the view from the balcony.

Construction ongoing

The next door unit was undergoing construction, and it's another rental by the same agency. They should have not rented this unit during this time, because it was noisy all day, every day. Constant hammering on the walls and drilling. Also, blinds were old and not working well and plumbing needs work because we had to plunge toilets numerous times.

Great if you like roaches in the kitchen and dirty fans

Let me start by saying that I'm not picky at all when it comes to rental property. I can put up with a lot and still be happy at the beach. But, filthy ceiling fans, dirty hallway walls, mildew/mold on the bathroom ceilings, and roaches all over the kitchen are a bit much for the price we paid. It was our 30th anniversary and we've stayed at Emerald Isles a few times over the years and always had a great experience. This time was different. The first day there we were headed to the store to buy roach bait and spray. Roaches were coming out from under the frig, under the sink, and on the counter tops. When I say roaches, I don't many a few here and there, I mean dozens. Considering the lack of cleaning I asked for a minimum of my cleaning fee back, but only received part of it. The amount refunded for what we had to put up with was insulting. I guess it's time to find a new condo for vacations.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has been one of our favorites in the area. We have been to the general area 10 times but have never stayed at Emerald Isles. The beach is beautiful, the pool pristine, the view immaculate. My only complaint would be the pillows in the bedrooms - they were rock hard and we ended up buying some pillows from Walmart in order to get some quality sleep. Otherwise this was a beautiful condo we will likely return too in the future.

The beach was beautiful and not crowded ,the area as well lots of places in walking distance. The place was decorated very cute but could be better not enough towels or sheets and could be clean better. My complaint would be the coffee pot toasters need replaced there’s like three broken ones in the closet those are cheap to buy and make it more pleasant for vacationers. You do you need a key to get into the pool or go to the beach which was a little bit of a hassle but if you like the security of it you won’t mind. Would recommend to stay there

The vacuum in the unit was not great to clean the carpets. The fan over the queen bed was wobbly and felt unsafe to use.The newer floors were great.Queen mattress was uncomfortable but others were adequate. This unit is definitely about the location to the beach, beautiful sunsets and ease to restaurants, groceries, etc. we will definitely stay in the building again but hopefully another unit. RRresort rentals readily answered our after hours calls.

The building appeared to be well kept with the pool area and beach being very accessible for everyone and kept up by the management team and North Reddington employees! The area has many restaurants and small shops that you can walk to in just a few short minutes. The condo did have a little mold in the bathrooms that needs attention. This was the only flaw we discovered on our trip.

Amazing beach front property

We had a great stay for the week and would definitely return. We had absolutely no issues that required contacting the property manager. The check in process (picking the packet/keys up at another location) was slightly inconvenient but a breeze and required no personal contact. The balcony views could rent this condo on their own!

The good things far outweigh the issues

The positives of the property are: LOCATION!, space/size and the kitchen. The condo is in the most convenient location when your goal is to go the beach or spend time at the pool. Both are super easy to access, and everyone around is super friendly. The size was perfect for us, 2 kids and my parents to all stay together. The kitchen is beautiful and it was so nice to be able to cook there. We loved the kitchen, dining room/ family room element of the condo. The cons: the key situation is unnecessary and the cleanliness was not up to par for me. The keys are extremely hard to access the building with as mentioned multiple times on this review page and by every person staying there that we encountered and spoke with. We got lucky by having them install a new lock while we were there which then made the front door to the condo a breeze to get into. And lastly, the cleanliness to the condo upon arrival is not what I expected. Luckily there is a Publix close by and we bought some cleaning supplies. Again, overall the condo was a great experience and turned out well for us. Just don't look under the beds or the couches.

This room has continued to decline in appearance and cleanliness. Do you get the price has continued to escalate. We made reservations for next year as we always do And the price went up $700 as compared to last year. The blinds are not in good shape the floor and carpet are dirty. My little great grandson got dirty feet just walking along the floor barefoot. He made a deposit and reserved it for next year, but we will not reserve it for the following year if it is not updated and cleaned. The cost of this condo hasn’t gone up 25% which is ridiculous.

Would have liked to seen more info on the area attractions/resources available in the condo like a folder or some flyers/etc. the home was well maintained but the cleaning crew needs some work- crackers under edges of couch, broom broken and unusable, shower curtain liner had mold on it. Once we cleaned a little and replaced those things it was smooth sailing.

Beach Vacation

We'll start with the bad and work our way to the good. First as other reviewers noted, the key situation is ridiculous. One of the two sets of keys we received did not work at all. The owner needs spend some money to upgrade to a key less entry system. The living room furniture should have been replaced years ago it is very tired and dirty. The area rug in the living room and the bedroom carpets are disgusting. They all need to go. The kitchen and dining area were clean. The cable tv situation was a mess. There are for remotes for the system. and no instructions. The blinds on the sliding door are completely nonfunctional. The sliding door also needs attention as it tended to come off track. Three of the four light bulbs in the shared bath were burned out. Surely the cleaning crew talks to the property manager? We had to contact the property manager for keys that worked, light bulbs, batteries for remotes, and for kitchen towels and dish clothes. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the utensils and appliances you need. The laundry across the hall was convenient. The wifi performed well. The location is wonderful. The view from the balcony and the sunsets are great. The pool is well cared for and quite nice. Being right on the beach is marvelous. You can hear the ocean from the unit.
